  1. We have found the problem just working on a fix. The mobs are actualy running away from their spawn points, so rebooting will not fix this . I will let you know as soon as we get a fix. Thanks, David
  2. I wish we could, but it is not our client and we cant change the source of it . What most of us devs do is use it in windowed mode.
  3. This is the same as live.... We are currenly working on adding the 3 new classes also so this makes us have to do a balancing act, so in order to add them you have to change some things. Factions are currely having a lot of issues once this is worked out factions will be alot closer to live.
  4. Its fixed it was a small server issue
  5. I moved all the new players up to this point again to the PTR.
  6. We could also add a max kite distance from the spawn and make it at lets say 25K from the spawn it will go back to the spawn.
  7. I also just want to post and say if any of the guilds want a room ask one of us Devs or GMs and we will create you a room for your guild. We have a few so far. Thanks, David
  8. No we do not have any one shot installers because of the ownership of EA we can not really do that. What you can do is download the installer from Ea and then just run the launcher and it will update all your files to the current version. We should be coming out with a new patchier soon to go from the demo version of the client to the latest version. Thanks, David
  9. For information on the PTR check out: https://enb-emulator.com/index.php?/topic/2643-public-test-realm/ Thanks, David
  10. Hey Orga2, Have you tried uninstalling the client and reinstalling fresh? It may be something weird in one of the files casuing the client to lock up. I have seen this issue mostly with a messed up .MIX file. Thanks, David
  11. Hey everyone, As some of you may know we now have put up a public test realm for people to play on. This server is going to be used for the developers and players to hopefully work out issues before patches are made to the play server. This may not always be the case, but we are going to try to move most big changes to the PTR (Public Test Realm) first. On a side note about the PTR, we will not promise anything with your characters. We will be wiping any time we need on this server. Many of times what we need tested will be handed to you when you create a new character (Items, Levels, Skill points, etc.). We will announce any major bug testing that will be going on using the launcher. The last thing is since the PTR is running on the same server as the Developer server it may not always be online. If we need to free up ram for testing it may be pulled off line until we need it for testing. This server is not a “play server” but a server for testing. The address for the PTR server is ptr.net-7.org. I am going to try to keep it up to date with the newest accounts on the play server so that everyone can log into it. As we decide more of how we are going to run the PTR server we will let you know. Thanks, David Addendum: Please direct your attention to the PTR forums HERE for updates and announcements regarding the test server, as well as to discuss testing and to post bug reports.
  12. Actualy soon as I get the time we are going to set up another server for everyone to test on. We will be asking you guys to come over and test before it moves to the play server. This will be more like a public test realm.
  13. Ouch...We work very hard to try and balance things out. Sometimes things get broken, but we have a VERY small dev team...unlike WOW and many other games, and they still get it wrong. It is very hard to work on an MMORPG.
  14. The current launcher in the help dropdown menu actualy opens a window to the ticket system.
  15. There will not be adverts on the launcher I would hate that lol.
  16. While this sounds great for donators we really cannot do this legally. At some point we want to come up with a way to reward the donators for keeping the play server up and running, but we are not sure how we will do this yet.
  17. Have you looked in the tools dir in the svn?
  18. Hey Everyone, I want to stay out of this but I do have to say a few things. One of the things I hate about posts like this is as a dev I feel like everything I do I get attacked for. Every day I get on here I end up reading about a post where someone isn’t happy with something we are doing. Myself I just want to code and get things working. Once things are working we can release all of what we have and be done with it, but instead I am replying to messages like this and not coding. For the people wanting to get this project done having all of the devs have to defend every move we make isn't going to move us any faster. Thanks, David P.S. Posts like this do not motivate m:)
  19. After you submit a ticket all replys goto your email address that you put in. Depending on the problem you may also be contacted in game if you can get in game. As I said before I have even helped people in game asking for help. Most GM's do this but if they are busy helping other people they may not be able to help you in game so you will have to goto a ticket and wait for a GM to be free. Thanks, David
  20. Alot of times it is best to use the tick system, but most GM's will responed though tells also. Thanks, David
  21. Hey guys, Tonight I was able to get the basic /call working. It does not show a conformation yet but as soon as the server is updated this should work like your document says Avani. Thanks, David
  22. This topic is getting out of hand. It is now locked.
  23. Then why not stay over there? Why come over here and make big posts and do nothing more then complain? We are not holding you to stay here.
  24. I actualy wrote a message to Thelia about it letter them know. We do not just edit posts, but I do not wish to advertize them on here thats all. To the open source statement, we are basicly just not doing releases untill we get to a good release point. It is still open source. Thanks, David
