Do you realize how long it will take to fully max out every skill past 150 when you get 1 point per ding? It isn't as easy as live where you could by buddy codes and get 20 SP for 50mil credits.

Yeah I had this same idea maxing hacking to lvl 5 and giving up Biorepression also to 5 (skipping the AOE debuffs) but also increasing the success rate, it fails way too much to be anything more then a waste of energy.

Invite a miner friend and you each grab 2, Poof mining bonus and then you move on. If you are solo, hit 2, clean out then go back. It's actually best to keep it stacked at raw ores because you never know when you need to refine them and if you have say 19 of them, well then yer left with a stack of 4 raw and then the refined ones. Also some of the ammo ores like Apolonite, Discordite, Raw Eye Stone are used raw.

Do us all a favor, get your own servers, do your own coding and then tell everyone how it's going to be done. They have stated their reasons, but since you just joined less then 2 weeks ago and this is your first post I won't expect that you have read through all the posts that everyone else has. Short summery, that are a lot of dead accounts clogging the database and it needs to be cleaned up. This is also an ALPHA setting. Not even beta. Expect things to break sometimes with a reason, other times as random as a bowl of petunias coming into existence next to a whale and then crashing on a planet.

In live you had a thing called money and crappy computers that limited what people could do with multiple accounts. Now we have netbooks that can run 2 instances at the same time and those come cheep, not to mention people with triple monitor displays and KVM switches that can run many desktops via 1 keyboard. So the timer between respawns on mining fields was jacked up to prevent bot mining and yet the devs have said they put out more fields in out of the way places. You need to get out of Glenn and find them. This reset will be a boon to miners now though as this time around there is no refining bug so that means explorers will be in demand for those fields that have mobs in them. As I usually say when asking for a group, "I want CL, you want EL. You do your thing. I'll do mine." As for credits and leveling, after the Rollback my scout had an EL 41 and TL 34. I spent nearly 4 EL mining virtually alone in Pluto & Charon hitting 5 - 7 'roids which meant 4 - 8 ores. I made 10 mil just mining, (keeping what ores the guild would need) refining and vendoring. Without the accelerated exp in place miners will come out very well especially since we will never have to resort to trade runs or job terminals when they come around. I actually hope they never get implemented as all it consisted of was everyone standing in VT waiting for the refresh to pop up to grab the limited Niff Cloud jobs and then rush back to do it again. No wait I take that back, the more people standing there waiting for jobs to refresh the less people there are in my ore fields.

I wasn't trying to make us scouts look bad at all, just 1 skill that needs tweaking. It could be very powerful if the range was tweaked to perhaps 3k at the start and then no more then 5.5k. Leave it at max lvl 5 skill and then take those extra and then make the same tweaks to Biorepression and give us lvl 5 of that at max, then we can handle ourselves in the ore fields as well as the PS and JE. Also remember people that accidents happen, the last wipe we went through was not planned at all. Same with the crash that has happened. Since our lovable devs to sleep and work other jobs it might take a bit to learn the issue at hand.

Was talking on general on how Hacking was such a worthless skill on a Scout, barely tolerable on a TE and the sever got all butthurt and cried so much it kicked us all offline.
