  1. I did this mission today. I don't know if there was a bug that was squashed, but there are a couple of minor points that might make life a little easier for those that come after.   At the point of the mission where you're asked to bring a Damaged Shaitan Motivator before you can continue:   Check your inventory. You should have received two of the three components needed for the build recipe. You are expected to create the Turbo2 Wiring Harness yourself.   After the harness is built, you should have the three needed components to build the Motivator. The recipe is under Items, not Components, and the Motivator is a ship engine. If you look in that category, you should find the build recipe there.   From there, just build the Motivator, and ensure it's in your Inventory, or even equipped on your ship before returning to the NPC offering the mission.   Hope that clarifies some missing pieces. :D
  2. When we reach L150 and beyond and have finally maxed out all our character skills, what are we to do with the extra skill points that continue to accumulate? I've set up an informal poll for all to answer that question. Enjoy, Paul Eloje, Elojs, Elott
  3. is primary alt, also play Elotrader, and Elojd, and Elojs.

  4. I saw the Ctrl-T below. Also, to do the same with your coordinates Ctrl-P does the job. Paul Elo (Eloje), Elojd, Elojs, Elotrader (Elott)
  5. I'm designing a tool for builders and players to be used in conjunction with E&B. I need the database to troubleshoot and debug the program. I do not want access to the live database, but I recall that the DB was available for d/l back when single user mode was available. The links are gone with the old forums, but I was thinking that maybe I could get a link that d/l's a near current schema to use for debugging my code. Thanks in advance, Paul Elo, Elojs, Elojd, Elotrader (Elott)
  6. Just a thought. How about allowing the Seeker the ability to build Jenquai restricted shields? All the way up to L9, just Jenquai only shields. I offer this in keeping with the Jenquai insularity, and overall desire to be independent of all other races, i.e. the Progens because of the original war in Jupiter, and the Terrans with their obsession for profit, etc. etc. I just figure it always seemed kind of strange that a race determined to be insular, like the Jenquai, would overall neglect duplicating any or all technology that would allow them to sever trade ties without sacrificing too much of their tech base. Jenquai shields are not particularly useful to non-Jenquai, and my Explorer and Defender both run non-Jenquai shields atm. Just an idea. Paul Elo, Elojd, Elotrader, Elojs
  7. All that is true. My current figures were as a Jenquai Explorer L50 or so. The best numbers I had were for Prasad/Sommerled. Averaged 692 credits/real time minute. Fairly good return on time. I was running with a L3 Breton engine, L4 Kraken reactor, and an L3 Roadrunner+. Not the stealthiest loadout, you'll agree. Not an equippage I'd recommend for combat. Warped around 3981. I used gate to gate navigation (i.e. no free warps). I also lost seconds here and there. You can manage about 4 runs per hour. Trade buffs (i.e. Grouping with Terran Traders, or being one) will improve your profits. High negotiate will also increase your margins. That's simply my experience. Profit remains high even at higher levels, though Trade XP has dropped significantly. At L50 (overall), I was getting more XP than credits. At L76 overall, the same run generates about 25% of the Trade XP that it did, seems like. Your mileage may vary. Enjoy, Paul Elo, Elotrader, Elojd
  8. Thanks, that's kinda what I did.
  9. Um, a link to the TS Client would be helpful here. Could someone post one? Thanks in advance. Paul Elo, Elotrader, Elojd
  10. There's one other run I might mention that should be of interest, particularly at the lower levels. The Paper Boy routes. Run the News between Net-7 in Saturn, and Earth Station where you pick up the Earth Updates and return. Also, Net-7 in Saturn to Sommerled Station in New Edinburgh, return with News Updates from there also. There are a couple of others, that run longer distances, but those two help generate money quickly especially for lower leveled characters. Once again, a little each way on a fast run makes money faster than 1 better paying run over a much longer distance. BBW doesn't save that much time, does it? Your mileage may vary. Paul Elo, Elotrader, Elojd
  11. There's also one other run no one's mentioned. After you've gotten Fenris and Aragoth Prime mapped it's a snap. Doesn't make a lot each run, but it's so short, the sheer volume of runs can make you a small fortune very quickly. The route runs between Fenris Observatory and Aragoth Station, 1 gate away. It's been called the Poison/Meat route because you shuttle Biotoxins one way, and Frozen Meat the other. Don't ask me which is which. Pick up the one that's for sale at one of those two stations and take it to the other, where you pick up the other cargo and return with it. So fast, can run 30-40 round trips in a real time hour. The repeats are where the money and trade xp build. Paul Elo, Elotrader, Elojd
