I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. And to make a fresh start, i would also like to apologize to the Devs here. I got really frustrated over my gating issues  which i've seemed to have solved. I do know that all of you worked really hard to bring back my first mmo which i must say i love maybe more than i should. I know what you do isn't easy. I didn't mean to come off like an ass to any of you. I was just frustrated and didn't know what to do.  The game seems to be running and all i had to do was check a box in the launcher. So again i wish everyone here a good new year and to you devs a toast to all your hard work.   Castagere

I tried all the fixes. I'm running Windows 7pro. I just can't go anywhere. When i gate i just hang at the loading screen. I have to ctrl alt gelete out the program. This was not a problem for me before so i don't know whats change.

Me too and that posted fix doesn't work either. I hope they come up with something better.  I guess i'll play something else till they fix this. 

Worked great for awhile but i'm right back at zoning/gating hangups. God i wish you guys could really get rid of this. Makes playing the game really hard.

I left for awhile to rethink about the new direction the game has went compared to live. But after playing last night for the first time in awhile the game felt empty. Even the chat was dead. Tried looking up old friends and nothing.

Wish i could say this. I played back in live and never got to end game. Because finding good hunting area's has always been a mystery to me. I get stuck with combat in my 20's and that's as far as i get. And in this version of the game finding people to help out with this is difficult. I have tried to team up with people and get turned down all the time. It is like a friends only game now. So if this game is to go anywhere that has to change.

I think Twitch TV would be great. There's another old game that's being run by a player community. The game company after shutting it down gave the code to some loyal fans. The game is Neocron 2. And its running better than it ever did.  And unlike EA the game company gave up the code and it's awesome. Look it up I'M playing it along with this game. But a twitch TV channel with this game would be amazing.

Wait till your first time going to warp in your ship. That's when it really hits you. Brought a tear to my eye's the first time after all those year's.

If their goal is not to make it like it was in live then where is that posted? It seems like alot of the old time players find this game and after awhile notice that its not the same game and either complain in game on chat or post something here. Last night someone ingame posted their feelings about it in chat and got nothing but grief for it. I'm sure they quit and are telling thier friends about it.

I hate to say it because i feel the same. ST4 was probably the best time i've had with this EMU. But i try to login once in awhile to see whats happening. I still have hope that they will get it sorted out soon.

I notice that this is happening alot lately. Its just how the people that play mmos are these days.

Wow thats right about weapons firing. I had forgot about that.

I'm no expert with numbers but i do notice it seems to take more shots to kill the same mob before the patch. Thats all i have to say. I'll just have to adapt once again. I do understand that beam range shouldn't be the same as missles or projectiles. I'll be using energy leech alot more now.

That would be cool. Maybe do something with faction if you take prisoner to a home base and gain faction and get payed by them.

Thats one of the great things about this game. So many great people willing to help others. I was getting really frustrated looking for this thing and someone just gave me one they had. I kid you not, over an hour searching for mobs that drop this thing and nothing. They should increase the mobs that drop it or something.

Did this last night. Spent over an hour looking for this stupid thing. Over an hour of wasted play time. The mission is just to vague like most of the missions in the game. Finally someone took pity on me and gave me one they had in their vault. Way to many missions like this in the game. No hull upgrade mission should be like this. I still think all hull upgrade missions should be optional period. You do the missions and still have to pay the credits for the upgrade anyways.

Brings back memories. My old E&B Machine was a pentium 3 933 cpu, I gig of ram, Ati 7500 gpu. All inside a big beige case. Man that was almost a super computer back then.

Great post and i'm sure you have most of us in your corner. Do what you have to do to make this a better game than it was in old live. I can see it now ..In three or four months people wil be saying man do you remember the bugs when the game fist came out? Its so great now.

Lol why would it make the game more challenging? All it would do is cost you credits. Player made equipment should be the best and stronger to use. In old live if you got blown up you would lose quailty value way to harsh is that what you want here? It didn't make the game more challenging just annoying.

I was wondering what you guys would think if we had a market board. People could list request for items and builders could also list wares. I know net7 has item database but this would be a little different.

But that is still really great. Alot of old timers coming back to our favorite mmo. I love to see a full house. Seeing the popular stations full of players makes me smile.
