forget the launcher for now. get game up and crashing, then you can worry if you can update the files or not
-
paths inside bat are how windows sees them, ie ~/.wine/drive_c is c:\
-
and client.exe in c:\program files\earth & beyond\release\client.exe ? c: cd "c:\Program Files\EnB_Emu\Net-7\bin" net7proxy.exe /ADDRESS:74.208.192.215 /CLIENT:"C:\Program Files\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe" /POPT /EXREORDER /DML yes

net7launcher.exe is the correct one. if that one is missing, then reinstall net7 -
Download these and put to net7/bin folder cdata.dat net7proxy.exe Download this and put into 'data/client/ini' under EnB folder data/client/ini/auth.ini then create net7proxy.bat file and run it with wine. c: cd c:\NET7\bin net7proxy.exe /ADDRESS:74.208.192.215 /CLIENT:"C:\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe" /POPT /EXREORDER /DML modify paths as needed this should get you to INV-300 error. Now you need to teach wine to trust self signed certificate from https://sunrise.net-7.org/good luck with that.

there is no other way to launch enb but to use net7 launcher. find or reinstall net7 launcher. which program did you run to get into enb and saw that error message? -
for some bizare reason, net7proxy insists on binding on fixed port or +10 increments from said ports when it detects multiple clients. If one toon starts mirroring the other, then I guess second proxy failed. Why proxy dont use automatic port (and also bind to 0.0.0.0 instead fixed ip) I have no idea. What I'm saying is, did you close both clients and tried again.. and again?
-
if 'control panel, internet options, network, proxy (or whatever the click order is)' has 'no proxy' active, then yep you screwed.

if you have multiple entries in 'local ip's list, then try different one. -
is internet proxy on 'auto' or 'no proxy'? on first, proxy server is auto discovered and used, on second your ISP is doing some funky https/ssl transparent proxy which is not normal.

'both' implies 2... you forgot net7proxy.exe?. thats where the error comes from. -
internet proxy on auto? https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/whats-my-ip/ http://www.lagado.com/proxy-test first will show you IP for https/ssl connections, second any proxies that you might be using.

ahh yes, seems that search crashes when there is no avatars.
-
no problem with chrome that I'm aware of. last things to try is to clear browser cache and/or press F12, select console and try search again to see if it throws any related error there

Sorry, Your login does not appear to be valid...
karu replied to AdamBNYC's topic in Technical Support
It's probably a proxy issue. If you have proxy set as 'auto' in 'Internet Options' settings, and isp has wpad active, game might use proxy server from there to login into game and when it tries to connect using udp, server sees two different client IP's. -
what browser are you using?
-
what item are you searching for? Just now did default search to 'rifle' and it worked.
-
check internet proxy settings. turn it off if it's on auto.
-
/LADDRESS:a.b.c.d /DML proxy does not delete th6 files, launcher does that, eg. del d:\games\enb\data\client\mixfiles\*.th6
