You went through all the 'activations' for your game account in your email, correct? Otherwise, I'm kind of at a loss ....

I am indeed in Static, as my signature indicates. But I fail to see the reason behind the question.   Simply stated, I do not agree that the devs are somehow manipulating the spawns. If you believe this, that is your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. I only stated if you have knowledge to the contrary, then you should bring that information forward.   It would be a shame to continue to imply that things are happening for a specific reason when in fact they may be happening due to many other circumstances.

The implications drawn in that post, Ichi are that you have intimate knowledge that the raid spawns are indeed being 'held' back due to this situation? If this is the case, by all means, please bring this information to the proper folks in charge of this game so it can be remedied as that is a clear violation of all the rules set forth by these very same folks in the beginning.   If you are only insinuating that these spawns are effected based on the outcome of negotiations then may I offer you this lovely tinfoil hat?   I have stated many times on this thread that if you are not directly involved in these negotiations, then you should try to keep your chatter to a minimum as it will only serve to inflame an already sensitive issue. There are issues to be worked out and answers to questions that need to be taken care of in order to move these things forward.   You are pointing fingers and insinuating that that dev team and that all the players who don't agree with your stance is keeping you from your 'spitter'. There are many out there that do agree with the stance that has been taken. Perhaps you are keeping yourself from your 'spitter'? It is all a matter of perspective here.   I don't truly believe that these spawns are being hindered from the dev side of the game as that would not be professional and even though these fine folks are not paid, they are certainly professional enough to keep this game running and not let our game politics interfere with thier goals.

Ok, this may be way off the beaten path, but I'm running out of ideas, Cin.   1. Open the control panel   2. Click on system security main header   3. Click on "Allow programs through windows firewall" It should be the 2nd option down   4. Click on Change Settings   5. Scroll through the list to see if anything pertaining to Net7 and EA games is there. If not then: (If they are present there, please ensure there is a checkmark in the boxes next to them)       1. Click on Allow another program. A list will pop up in another window       2. Scroll through that list and click Earth & Beyond then add, then allow another then add LaunchNet7 then ok.   6. Close all the windows  and reboot the machine.   Please make sure you still have all the things in the msconfig from previous still unchecked, or if not, uncheck them again then reboot the machine and give it a shot.

I'm running out of ideas here Cin. Let me think on it a bit more and see if I can come up with another solution ....something is interfering, somewhere, but what? .....

ok something is blocking it. something running in the backgroud most likely. this is what i would do to try to figure it out.   boot the system as normal. once started click the windows start icon, lower left toolbar. in the search box type msconfig press enter. click on the startup tab. make a note of which boxes have checkmarks to the left. click on disable all, confirm, apply, restart the machine. when system loads again try the game. if it starts you can then repeat each of these steps backward, checking one checkbox in the startup file again then reboot and check game.  be sure to restart between each item. when you get to a point the game no longer loads, the last item you checked before restart is the trouble maker. depending on what it is you could leave it out of startup so it wont interfere but that depends on what it is.   give that a shot and see what you come up with. good luick!

I am curious, Cin. After it updates, and you hit the play icon. Have you waited any length of time? Look in the lower right hand corner to see if the Net7 icon is up? I know my machine sometimes can take almost a FULL minute or more to get it started. But in the lower right corner there is always the blue Net7 icon. I am not sure why it delays, it just does, but see if it is there. It might be your machine delaying for some reason. I wish I had a better explanation here, but I can't think of any.   Oh one more thing. Delete the th6 files as well, see if this helps. I don't know if you did that already or not.

You said you are using Win 7, Cin. Are you sure you are not using Win 8? These all sound more like troubles I've seen from a Win 8 machine ......

I would ask you why this was directed to me as I am well versed in how the rotation works but it seems irrelevant as my original question was posed to Vitaes who answered it. If you are trying to explain a stance or opinion from yourself then you should clarify that. I read your response no less than three times and am still unclear if you are posting as 1/3 of the current raid council or a member of Epic Gamers.

I would like to know what the difference is between your statement "If for some reason they can't do a raid (for whatever reason) some other guild can jump in and do it." and the option that Nick provided are?   I am not trying to start an arguement or be confrontational, I only would like to know what your perceptions of what you stated and what Nick proposed are because from my point of view, they are indeed the same things.

I have absolutely NO idea how valid this information still is, Gizard, but from minimal effort, I did locate this old information, you can try it, I suppose *shrugs*   Not sure if this will help, but originally, E&B also used the following ports: Port 21 - Patcher Port 80 - Client Port 443 - Account Login Port 3805 - Worldserver Login Ports 3000-4000 - Gameplay However, with your "lock ports" option ticked, I would imagine these ports above are not used anyway.   It goes on to some other information, but none of that information is valid any longer so far as I can tell, and NONE of it was router related.

As most of you are probably curious as to what has been going on regarding the rotation issues, I thought I would mention it here.   As of Sunday, Oct 27, there was a general meeting between Static, BI and VGE regarding Epics venture to get into the guild rotations. Getoffme, from Epic was also present for a short time to give us his insight.   At this point in time, Epic Gamers has not yet been put into the guild rotation. There were questions raised that need to be answered and there will be a decision within 2 weeks time when Static, BI and VGE take a final vote on the matter.   If anyone has any questions or concerns, they can feel free to contact myself, Canman, Nicodemus or Overtkill via PM here or in game.   We are all trying to be diplomatic and get things settled in a timely and adult manner and to that end members of Static who are not in a leadership role, will be asked and/or reminded to allow your leadership to do what you expect them to do. Gentlemen, this is not the proper spot to be discussing nor airing dirty laundry. I think, for the most part, the issues raised can be addressed outside of a forum situation with the guild leaderships that are involved here. I also remember them being tied to guild rank. I don't remember what they all stood for, but I remember the colors being tied to ranks within each guild.

Yes Prre, that is correct. I started this thread many many MANY moons ago right after we went live and couldn't complete the misison. As of  yesterday, I have now completed it. Finally getting rid of that lvl 4 crystal I have had for all these months! :D
