See this is a Topic we need. The JD as a Third string Tank is a Good idea.  I have used the JD as a tank many times. (quite Spa :) )   The Psionic Shield based combat works well as a Jenquai tank tactic, unfortunately with the Combat Cloak taken out of the equation, DPS suffers greatly. Also the activation time for the Psionic shield takes too long to get it re-applied, while fighting third string in a End-game boss fight, its too long. Just saying.   I agree that there needs to be some sort of (new?) aggression grabber to get the Aggro instantly off of the Healer(s). Increasing the Threat of the Warrior(s) skill or Device (Hint) is one way to go. But my first thought honestly was too have the "Healer threat" notched down periodically from patch to patch until a more manageable Aggro balanced was obtained.   As a JD tanking, Summons and Fold Space (See IdrisJD) has proven to be Excellent crowd control tactics and Temporary aggro grabber. But the JD is still only able to take One hit, maybe, maybe two, then he is left to die or cloak and pass on the Aggression to another group member.

AS the title suggest. Tell us why you like Multiboxing and why it should be an integral part of the EMU.

  No worries, I still have my alt collect my Trade items at a NAV outside of XP range. It is hard to quit cold turkey!   MY original post was to look for people that share the True MMORPG experiance of playing with others and may have trouble finding others, NOT to put down anyone that chooses to Multibox instead. Extraverts who choose to interact with others in a mature fasion is harder to come by now a days in our EMU. We have been seeing people leave our EMU because they can't interact with others or Find the New NPC A.I. harder to over come while multiboxing. I'm saying Give Multiplayer groups a chance to make the game better for them. Don't leave.   Hell I know it is Hard to trust someone to do their Job in a Group better than you think you could while flying a formation of "Ones AlterEgos" By Now every Multiboxer has a routine on combat, trade and exploration and it has become a seamless task, And truthfully what is the difference between a Single Character/player Soloing a boss than it is with a Multiboxer? IMHO not much Its still One player doing the Soloing.   So I am 1 person/character Looking for People that choose to and would like to Group. I am still wheening myself off of Multiboxing. I know that Multiboxing can get far more serious than it is now.

I am sorry to say that this game is just to fun for me now. I don't think I can continue to have this much fun any more.   The mobs behaviour is causing me to Innovate, adapt and Stratgize causing me to use my brain and adding to the fun and helping me forget my day a work..   I can't believe how excited I get when I get the Drop I was hopeing for, this is unexceptible.   I wish my guild members would stop helping me get the builds I need when they aren't busy.   The new builds that are in game and the new ones that will follow, will unfortunatly give me something to look forward to in the future.   The fact that the GMs help me/us when we need them is really sad, they really do help keep us on our path of happieness. The DEVs listen to our input and talk amongst themselves and sometime put our suggestion in our game. Whats up with That? The Beta's working in the shadows and behind the scenes take time out of their day to test the DEVs changes for us, this is just wrong.   Again, I am sorry I will continue to play this game for a long time to come.   So without further ado, I will see you in game.   Semper Fi !   Edit: To Voncorp I would like you to keep helping me and others in our guild.

Yea I'll add to it. Lets make the Bosses be Class/Race leaders, Herrara, Var and Silva they have got to travel sometime right? They can have the appropriate escorts and AI (skills) in formation traveling from sector to sector, Jupiter to Swooping Eagle, Mars to Jotuheim and Earth to Glenn etc etc..

Sounds slightly familar. I like the idea of being blind right up untill its to late and you have got to pay extream attention to where your at and what your doing. Just my opinion but...Just what this game DOES NOT need is a better way to Multibox. IMHO. Don't be suprised if something is done to discourage Multiboxing, either IP limits or More severe healer or Debuff aggro. You think this is a good thing? I guess we will have you to thank for it.   I think DEVs had the idea of increasing the Server limit to accommodate the increased player base if needed, not for the Increased Multibox useage.   I was wondering about the Logged in numbers increasing, I was hoping it was new players, But apparently its not.   Nice Job.  NOT!   https://forum.enb-emulator.com/index.php?/topic/8295-looking-for-group/

LMAO, Hello ! It must of been a Nice wake up for for JDs that use to solo Bosses wasn't it. I'm not saying thats the case here. But thats the way it should be, not the way the some JDs would like it but..

Oh man I hate to see someone leave out of fustration. It really pains me that a guild couldn't do more for a low level toon.   There are a few, very few, that are trying to NOT multibox, and want to group with you. But you have to make it known ask "LFG JD L99, Currently in Grissom". While in group If you have trouble typing or communication I'll get on the EMU Team speak with you.   We'll "Make It So" we'll make it fun. Please forget about how the game use to be. Look at it like a game that you never played before, totally new. There are so many things that are working than ever before. And some new challenges. Don't give up! Adapt.  I and my guild are patiently leveling our toons and gathering information on how to defeat the new aggression system. And you know what ? its completely different from what was done in the past. Lets say the NPC have gotten smarter over night ! It is human nature to frown on change and some just CAN'T DO IT.   I really really do hate to see someone leave a game out of fustraition and because there is no one to play with. Thats not right and has to change. I would hate to be in a guild that didn't feel the need or the reason to help and educate our future warriors, Builders and Healers.   4Log

Yes I do remember having to have to make or do some damage to an NPC to get faction credit. As a low level Character getting 1 or 2 shots off just to get the Faction point and doing nothing else was the one of the thing that were still left for a Lowbie after EA/Westwood made the drastic XP change.   Most of you remember getting 14,000-16,000+ XP per KILL before EA changed it. Now Truthfully I do not know or remember How much of the Faction I/we recieved and I have no way to verify or really care about getting the Faction but.. There was some kind of benefit after the fact.   Today: I have been in a Group with a couple of high level players doing faction grinding, As A JD the one thing I could offer my group was My Energy Leech, when I activated the Leech I receive Aggro, after that Time I should also receive Positive or Negative faction for my action(s) after the demise of the NPC.   You get Aggression you get faction. Edit: If Your in a group and do harm (directly or indirectly) to an NPC and get Aggro you get faction. (Especially with the New Aggro system.) I'm not stating i'm suggesting.

You also got to admit PaK That the new Aggression system that is in place also makes it hard to Multibox, to which I'm ok with. Now if everyone thought of a Group as a Micro Guild, the funny, Down to business, heart warming camaraderie would be present like it is in their/your guild. (Most of them anyway) :)   Sure there will be a few "Bogart's and Babies" The Group/leader controls make it very easy to fill your group with happy golucky Peeps. I will admit "I have Very Little Tolerance of children acting like children" Oh I need that! Oh Can I have That?! My Alt could use that!. Eventually they will be weeded out and their and your Firm reputation will be well known on our little server. Chat Ignore is a very nice tool.

I have been getting away from Multi-boxing and I am having a better game play experience. A problem now arises, There are still a lot of people that still choose to Multi box and Play alone, and Thats Fine, But..   There are a good number of players that can't or like myself choose not to.  I am posting and letting the ones that choose to interact with others that I will be LFG and would enjoy your company should you be looking for a group also.   I know there is a need to level a particular class for what ever reason and am still weaning myself off multi boxing from leveling a JS or JE (Worm Hole). When there is a need for leveling a certain class some arrangements can be made between characters/Players weather it be Monetary or other.   An example of this was someone was helping me with Trade XP, No verbal arrangement was made so I took the initiative and ask if he would except 1,000,000 credits. A million credits in our current building environment would go far don't you think ? The trade levels I obtained and the surplus credits I retained was well worth the Million. No one wants to be taken advantage of, Be fair and upfront. What do you need from the Group and what are you willing to do for it? Build, Monetary or Reciprocation.   The Economy that we are developing is moving along nicely. Lets not let it go to our heads. :)   I will try LFG within my guild then I will go outside the guild. If your going to have 2-3 alts in a group "No Thank you" I'll find another.   Level 112 JD LFG

Nice, taxi channel and service. Another necessary part of an ever growing economy . I like it! Now lets get the JE's to set the standard pricing. All Warm Holes the same price. No too low so it won't have a positive impact on the economy and not to high so no one would use it. Maybe base it on the pathetic , Even, Hard or Impossible on what the mini- map says ? IDK ...

I was going to ask if there is a quick temporary fix that we could do on our end? But if the server down that would be a NO. Then again I see peeps on line.? I guess we don't want a Bunch people cluelessly modifing their client. Theres always friday. :o

I think the server is having issues because I just started playing a PW, and we all know thats just not right. :blink:
