  1. Right now there is no limitation on warp speed... Combat speed tops out at 1k. The TS can achieve the highest warp of 9045. I've got my JE just above 8k with RR+9, unicorn, Nav computer, and Loony's Hunk O'Metal (which technically isn't in game). At lower levels the JE is better on power when mining due to reactors being a main core skill and getting them 10 levels before the TS... Later on the TS mines just as well as the JE or PS. JE just has that convenience factor of Wormhole. Which is nice.

  4. I have seen this on my own JD... When you first engage cloak it does take up tp 3 seconds, but after you are cloaked you can spam the cloak button and make yourself cloak so fast that no one even sees your name.
  5. As for a TE solo'n GoBB the way he is now it's never gonna happen... The minnions and GoBB hit too hard and will hit you at up to 15k away, have heard people say even further than that at times.
  6. Well with constant damage no amount of healing would help... Especially against raid level bosses.

If PW had shield sap mechanics from 1 and a half years ago I could go in and decimate the FB. Is that fair? No, but look at it from the PW's point of view. Also a PW still couldn't rely on shield sap to keep them up then. GoBB boss group can strip a PW of its shields and hull in just a few seconds if it doesn't get constant heals.
  10. No it's fine leave it as be, but give me the ability to inflict 100+k damage to every mob within 3k of targeted mob every 14 seconds back... I'll be perfectly happy.
  11. It's funny though when PW was seen as overpowered, they nerfed it to hell and back... JD is seen as overpowered, what happens to it has to be mulled over.

Why can't it instantly target me when i decloak? Also a PW in a raid can't hang in a fight long enough for its cooldown timer to end... I know I play a PW. As for the Psi shield consider before buffs a JD's shield cap is around 50k. 80k absorbstion is very significant. Even 40k is a good deal of damage unless your trying to tank something. Which as a JD you just don't do.

Currently recasting PSI is a waste of time when fighting mobs that use Missiles or Projectiles. it takes 6 seconds for a Psionic Invulnerability to be cast - and in the meantime all that ordinance is on route, more than enough damage to instantly wipe out the PSI shield just cast. JD are forced to cast PSI once at the start of the fight. A technique once used by JD's to recast PSI shield to coincide with failing of current shield is taken away. I rarely use PSI shield on lower level mobs, and use it mostly for raid mobs. I have suggested this before but perhaps the damage absorption could be doubled. Currenty the max amount of damage absorption is about 40k without deflects. Even doubling the amount of absorption to 80k will only give the JD 2 or 3 more seconds to recast PSI or to fold space out of danger. It is by no means a God mode shield and will only protect the JD for 2 or 3 seconds against a lvl 60 raid mob, so there would be no spamming of psi shield to protect JD with PSi spamming indefinitely. PSi should at least be strong enough to protect the JD long enough to use other skills. Sorry I think I almost hijacked this thread - but it had to be said. I get what your saying, but 2 seconds is a bit much. Also double the Psi-shield absorbtion is a lot too. That's the entire JD's shield doubled. Granted without deflects.

Well this might be late to add to this conversation, but unless cloak takes you out of phase with normal space time, if you are fired upon you will get hit no matter what unless you were moving while you cloak... Which in most cases you are following the mob so you aren't moving away in any other direction. I don't know if you see where I am going with this. Half damage maybe, no damage I don't see how that's possible. Maybe I am reading too much into things.

As far as I have seen the PW is the only profession that the nerfs actually stuck on. I remember people complaining about cloak and such for others but nothing ever sticking.

  22. I would never say take the nerf bat to the JD because I don't like particular things that are going on in the game... I just hope at some point that "balance" happens. I know I definitely didn't like it when they beat the PW with it.

That is what I stated earlier in the thread I didn't think I'd have to reiterate it. It's not that difficult to do it, i have tried it several times myself just to see how easy it was. Just takes a little practice.
