Terrell [BT] Posted August 13, 2013 Report Share Posted August 13, 2013 In ST4 I had a skull shield that I found abandoned (the drop rates back in early ST4 were too high and people literally would leave them behind as they're no-trade), if I wanted the skull graphic to show, I had to install the shield while in space. If I installed it while in a station it wouldn't show. This may apply to the heart shields as well, assuming it works the same as it did in ST4/Beta.
