Klyde
Something that would be very cool to revive that was used extensively in live, a couple of slash commands IE: /assist (playername), and /target (playername). The /assist (playername) command would allow you to target whatever that person had targetted. Player A has a tough mob targetted and needs help, player B types /assist playerA and aquires his target. This was very helpful in multiple group environments where focused fire was key to winning. The /target (playername) command would allow you to target whatever player name was typed in. Player A is getting his arse kicked by a tough mob and asks a healer for help, Player B types /target (playerA) and aquires that person as his target. Very helpful in large groups of mobs and players with lag. Trying to target someone by cycling through takes a long time with multipe groups present, and by the time they are targetted, they are usually incapped. Ryle [N7R]
/assist is essential for group pvp as well if we ever get around to that later down the line i mean you can push the crosshairs but that often bugs out and lags like crazy
Phorlaug[IS]
It would be a good idea to have a short name and something that doesn't have any special characters like a capital letter or other in your name. Was there a way to put in a macro key for a player to assist or heal ? Or am I thinking of WOW ? I seem to remember something like Ctrl+P = /assist Planter etc etc
Klyde
Could be Phor, I have slept many times since live. A hotkey assignment would be awesome for sure.
