HappyGreg
When connecting to 87.106.131.253, it shows ONLINE-122 status, but its giving me the error "error launching client Details: Could not create backup of "rg_regdata.ini" file. Access to the path C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Data\client\ini\rg_regdata.ini.orig' is denied." I was able to connect to the server normally the past few days and play, then as of today can not connect when I choose that 87.106.131.253 or play.net-7.org. Any help would be appriciated, thanks!! Murdered
Try this:
Try this: First open a command prompt: Start > Run, type "cmd" with no quotes and click ok, then in the lil black box type "ipconfig /flushdns" reboot computer and try it again on both sunrise.net-7.org and then play.net-7.org This should clear your dns and allow it to recache the info with the new locations.
or try: Delete folders here: C:\Documents and Settings\"Insert User Name"\Local Settings\Application Data\LaunchNet7 might be under "All Users" folder Only guessing here. C Del[IS]
Run the launcher as an administrator. Windows seems to be preventing the launcher from modifying your client files.

Gotta love UAC (It protects the registry, the root of the system drive (usually C:) and Program Files (both folders if on 64 bit) for script/code based changes. If you don't run as administrator or the programmer has yet to set it up to request administrative priv from the kernel (which we haven't because we didn't have to do it with xp). It'll probably change in time once one of us gets the time to re-write the Launcher.
