Stuck on Mission "Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before"

Featured Replies

Thank you much for help in advance!

On my JE...I picked up mission "Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before"

from Tobias Mats on Dahin planet.

The first step is to talk with Dr. B'nzen H'neydoo at Ishuan Station.

There is only one conversation thread with H'neydoo and it leads to "Done".
The mission doesn't advance.

Also, there is no option to pickup the requisite mission
named "Green Initiative: Why did the chicken cross the road?"

which should also be given by H'neydoo.

This is for the Extended Wormhole skill.

My OL atm is 86 and the Extended Wormhole skill requires OL60.

Note:

I do not yet have Carpenter or Endriago under the "Create Wormhole" skill.

I see no wording saying that all abilities within "Create Wormhole" are required.

Is this bugged or do I need to get the Carpenter and Endriago wormhole abilities first

before the proper dialog is displayed when talking with Dr. B'nzen H'neydoo?

Thank you!

You seem to be missing the device for Annia Severa on another mission , that you need parts from Somerled

and F7 and other place

If you'd like to collect all the items needed for this mission and sub-missions you'll need: Components L4 Electro D4 Superinducer, L7 Nova Armored Vault, and L7 Quark Quantum Brain 360; 5 of each Decayed Terran/Progen/Jenquai Heads; 3 Eggs (purchase at Somerled Station); Yum-O-Rum (Drops from L26 Novice Dragon Drone in Venus and or BBW)

  1. Return to Dr. Tobias Mats after having acquired the device.
  2. Scan the location of the first extended weft in Witberg
    • Zephram's Warp (75,70,0)
  3. Scan the location of the second extended weft in Vishao's Cove.
    • Kashmir's Flow (15,6,0)
  4. Scan the location of the third extended weft in Venus.
    • Vineri Stamen (0,0,0) <- actual cordinates
  5. Return to Dr. Tobias Mats with the scan results.
  6. Why is the rum always gone? Acquire a bottle of rum for Dr. Tobias Mats.
  7. Return the rum to Dr. Tobias Mats

Thanks for your quick reply and the mission info and links.

It turns out that I must have started this mission some time ago.  Maybe dropped it.

So long ago that I don't recall.  I already had the required mission item "Sequential Paratransgenetic Homologous RNA Kinetosequencer" in my vault.

So I went back to Tobias Mats with that item in my inventory and all progressed like it should.

Yum-O-Rum can also be found floating in space in Venus, about 30k NW of Nav Commerce Lane 3.

This was an impressive necro UthorX... 4 years later... lol.  Looks like the wiki already has the location you describe, though it's given relative to "commerce nav 4", I wonder if that's supposed to be "commerce lane 4". But that's a good call since it's apparently the only option that doesn't require RD faction.
