BrutalHalitosis
Ever since the server restart at about 8 pm today, my client has been constantly crashing about every twenty minutes for a while. Now it will crash almost as soon as I log onto my character. Just before it crashed the last time when I gave, I started sending and receiving double messages. It doesn't crash to desktop or to login or anything like that, it will act as though I hit an indefinite lag spike, and I have to force the game to shut down. I've tried restarting both the game and my computer, but that doesn't seem to help at all Can anyone give me a hand with this? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks
RandyRawgust
Yo, this has been happening to me as well, seems stress test 4 begins with a large series of errors lol, Although that wont stop me from playing, or so I hope. Im stuck crashing on the log in map to Tau Ceti, Im a Progen Privateer, I only make about one or two gates on the Somerled-Prasad Route before I have to restart the client, or relog onto Windows. Anyone else experiencing issues conflicting your play of the game, when you post your problem, be sure to include your computers basic properties. Vista SP2 64-bit 5.0 Windows Experience Index Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz CPU 4 GB RAM Thanks again EnB team!

jander38
Can everyone do me a favor and look at what the NET-7 Proxy window is doing. I have a question. When seeing these issues does it say anything about LOGIN or LOGON status? Failed, successful that kind of thing. My question is why are there so many login events once the inital event has occured. maybe there is a problem w/ the credentials if they are constantly being asked for and passed off? Just a thought is all.

C Del[IS]
Sorry, since we don't support linux systems I'm not quite sure what is going wrong or how to help you. Perhaps someone with more linux experience can help. That said, our code is designed to work in a native windows environment and is likely to behave in a highly unpredictable fashion under wine. I have seen reports of people running the game successfully under Ubuntu distros, but not Debian as of yet. I would recommend using a real, or at least virtualized windows machine to play EnB. As for your WinXP setups, is there a pattern to the crashes other than being about 3 minutes after you start playing? For example, does it seem to crash when you gate or do something specific in-game? Lastly, are you able to see the final lines of output from net7proxy after the client crashes? ralbortas
Win7 client has been crashing in the following situations more frequently since the last Proxy update. Gating, docking, undocking, looting, mining or activating skills. Multi boxing crashes about every 5 minutes even doing nothing and is usually predicated by mass messages regarding invalid op code. ingulf00
I am also getting the invalid op code from the proxy when I start a fight. When this starts happening I have to shut down ENB and restart.
C Del[IS]
This is a known issue. There was some code put in to stabilize the connection that has had some ironic effects. Once it's resolved though, the connection will be more stable than ever.
rabidkiller
the issues are just getting progressively worse, people keep not even being able to connect, if you can get in 1/2 or more of the stuff in your vault/hold are null items, chat is 5 mins behind when anyone types anything. cant use terminals without getting stuck.Ammo takes 90 secs to make each stack, thats if it dosent lock up the game when you go in the terminal, more or less can't really even play atm.
