I think Gropos and Pakkrat both have offered the best posts of  the thread.   There needs to be a little more understanding on both sides here.  I work in software development - this is not easy stuff and the effort is considerable.  It's hurtful when people seem ungrateful and trash your hard work.   That said - if the playerbase (deservedly or not) has the impression that the dev team does not care about their thoughts on the play experience, it makes for a destructive mix.  Comments such as "If you don't like it, leave" are rash and ill-advised, even if the frustration is understandable.   I do not want to see this game die again.   My main is a TE, and I have to say, my level of annoyance that I just went through a long (and at times tedious due to respawn wait) mission for a device that now does me absolutely no good is more than trivial. Not that I don't understand the motivation for the change..... There has to be a positive solution here, and I think, all in all a little more thought about the ramifications and outcomes of such changes are in order on all sides.  Is there some kind of alternate mission reward that could be offered for warriors only - perhaps something that is an upgrade from a CVE (albeit perhaps not 20% turbo)???

Guild: Triton Founder: Trapt

It doesn't seem to be down, but I am having all kinds of issues with the connection failing when logging in, terminal freezes, and gate crashing.  Others in guild chat reporting the same.

My old ENB machine was a 450 mhz Gateway PIII with a 64 MB ATI  9700 :D  I miss the game, but not that machine.

To test this, I had my PS kill a number of them on her own without firing a shot.  I was hunting the Chavez for several hours and she gained no faction whatsoever.  My next test will be to have her to all the firing and see if anyone else in the group is credited the faction kill.   Update: Tested this again, with only my Sentinel firing at the mobs.  Each time she was the only one firing, no one got any RD faction for the kill.  When others fired, 5 RD faction points were awarded either to my enforcer, or my jenquai trader.  I then tried ungrouping the Sentinel and killing the mobs with her.  While not grouped she was awarded 5 Rd faction for each Chavez kill. Seems to be a possible bug :(    Given that, I'll go check out the bug tracker and see if this has been reported.  Thanks for the info, Matt!

Nice idea, thanks for including, but one question - if I understand correctly the faction should be spilt between any in a group taking aggressive action against the mob?  My Progen Sentinel sat in a group hunting Chavez for 3 hours today, firing along with the rest (definitely killing some mobs totally on their own), however her Chavez and RD faction did not move at all.  Meanwhile, the Terran Enforcer went from roughly -2800 to -277 in a matter of 2 hours, getting 5 RD faction for each kill.  Likewise, the Jenquai Trader went from about +200 to +2725, also getting 5 per kill (at least each time I checked).   Is this intentional?

Had this issue yesterday evening as well - "Connection to the global server has failed"  It cleared up after about an hour, but seems to be a problem again this evening.  Good luck resolving - will keep my fingers crossed for you guys!

Posting here on Darkk's advice as ticketing system is down.   My Terran Enforcer's promotion ceremony mission is one step ahead following the 1/1 patch.  She is level 50, but her mission has somehow advanced from step 10 to step 11.  It is prompting her to report to Yeager for her level 75 hull upgrade.  The correct step should be step 10 - "Report to executive Mackellan on Earth Station upon reaching level 75..."   Toon's name - Norinda   Thanks in advance for the help :)
