I tried to make a new account today (current one was made at beginning of ST4) so I could play around with two accounts since I got a new cpu, gpu, 2nd monitor;I got the exact same thing; multiple attempts. I do not NEED a 2nd acct but would be nice to get new players in.

Somewhere in these forums is a post from someone who made a javascript map of all the sector which include mobs/drops navs including some hidden and ore fields with (as far as mob/loot) linkage to info on drops. I looked for it the other night for a pal but could not find it but luckily I have it bookmarked. It is not 100% as not all mobs/locations are in place at this point in ST4. I feel the original post deserves to be found and pinned. thx

welcome back mate, I hope your deployment went smooth, but depending on where I am sure it didn't, but great you are back. Things are great but not yet perfect.

I would personally appreciate that mate. While some small part of me wishes that what I wanted would drop the first time or, as happened, I would get everything in a few minutes, it does take some of the fun and sense of accomplishment away if I could time the loot.

I noticed the same thing trying to get pulsing spore reactor/barrier of slime/crystalline dynamo...I spent a couple hours and over 600 missiles getting nothing but comps and body parts and then in a matter of 15 minutes I got all three drops and within that time I sent out broadcasts for people to come get the multiple barriers of ooze that dropped.

I don't know what the problem was but before the jobs at VT were taken out there was a DEV in [General] chat talking about the jobs causing problems with the server. But for your information there is now an Explore Job NPC next to the job terminal in VT that gives a very simple repeatable mission that is in the sector that gives 5k xp and 5k credits.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit fully updated, Q9650, 8GB ram. Side note when I initially setup net7/enb did not and still have not with updates encountered one single problem getting the game to run and only crashed twice until I made a Terran Scout yesterday and encountered all sorts of crashes and even a net 7 failure while playing.

she let me keep the three ores i collected to make a wiring harness in an earlier step and gave me 2 comps so i am assuming i use the 3 ores to make a wiring harness to give me 3 comps to build the motivator but the wiring harness isn't even on the mfg list although i have previously analyzed it. Can I forfeit the mission and get it again?

Ok, I started a JS this morning and one of the skill missions (I forget which but it was low level) wants me to make a Damaged Shaitan Motivator step 4/5. Before I can build it I need one to analyze; according to enb database it is a drop only from a Shaitan Fury lvl 3 but did not say where the mob was. I asked in chat and was told they were in Ganymede, my newb sector. I scoured every nav point and even free warped around and found nothing, well except for the derelict ships south of the planet. I would like to ask if anyone has found the Shaitan Fury and completed the mission? Thx edit: I should add that the mission name is all in a day's work.

yeah just after posting I logged into the game and checked the vendor I had not been using and got the loss of profit warning.

Which vendor should we be selling to? I was making 1 TL per hour this morning but I only have 22 slots and 2816 speed, am JE.

I like the idea to an extent, was a great feature in EVE; it was also a big spam feature outside gates and stations heck even within the roid fields. I would love to stay in a field much longer. And I hate leaving a nice quiet spawn due to cargo space, I always clean my kills; in live I remember the lag caused by people that did not. It would have to be coded for ores and loot only though otherwise it could be used as an exploit on trade runs and the lag it would cause: Imagine people putting their can outside station until they bought enough trade goods to fill it, then making the most profitable run and bam make outrageous xp and cash. I like the idea but don't know if it can even be done/codedto avoid exploit.

I can certainly understand being on a budget, especially when you NEED something in an emergency situation such as yours so I won't say "spend more to get the latest and greatest." I just did a search at newegg.com and there are many options for you under $50 up to a 9500 or an x4650 with up to 1gb ram, they won't hold up to the newest games at high settings but they are up to the challenge for the average users. The Zotac and Sparkle brands have good reviews and in the past I have read good professional reviews of them but I have mostly used Powercolor, they have excellent customer support, I sent in a 4870 that a fried by leaving the skylight open and it rained onto my PC, they sent me back a 4890 no questions asked. Last comment is that I agree we need an off topic section, almost made that suggestion last night lol. good luck mate.

As a JE from beta to sunset I would also have to agree almost completely. I only differ in that it would be nice here, with new sectors and classe it would be interesting if scouts and sentinels had a few devices/weaps/reactors etc that were class specific and build only, not drops; now say that part of the recipe was an ore/gas/whatever that could only be found in 1 or 2 small sectors that only that class could enter. And those sectors would have high level mobs appropriate to projectile and missile users. just a thought, but anyway i agree that no roid field should be inaccessible to a proper level JE for the field based on overpowered mobs.

I have an 80 year old neighbor, a generally foul and disagreeable fellow with no friends; his wife died about 10 years back and the doctors took his driver's license about 5 years ago. I took it upon myself to be his chauffeur, appointment setter, tech support, handyman, etc; I spend about 20 hours a week with him and while he does buy me lunch or dinner when we are out and about he doesn't really show much appreciation and usually has something to complain about. Today he really surprised me. As I was taking him to the eye doctor he mentioned wanting to go to officemax and I'm ok with that, it's only about 25 minutes away and I say "that's cool, maybe I'll check out some keyboards, several of my keys are crapping out (Razer Tarantula which I bought the first day they were in stock 3 years ago)". By the time we got to officemax, after many stops he needed to make, my back was hurting too much so when he asked if I was going in I said "no, my back hurts too much (I'm only 42 but have some pretty bad arthritis)". When he comes out I ask him if he found everything and says "yes, and this is for you" and hands me a Logitech Cordless Wave Desktop Pro! I was floored. Now the moral of this is 1, no matter how disagreeable someone is when a neighbor is in need you just gotta do a good turn even with no thought of any kind of compensation and 2, more importantly, show a person kindness and compassion long enough and you may make them a better person. Don't get me wrong, I greatly appreciate my new mouse and keyboard but what makes me feel really good is after 5 years this guy does something out of the blue to show his appreciation. I've never once thought "this is a burden too great", I've never given up hope on him. I don't think I am alone on this in this community as I have never seen another MMORPG that had this mind set, EnB will aways be the best online community I have ever been a part of in Live and I am sure here.
