  1. this wouldnt be a bad place to post them. ABA -> roid nav in the lower right corner.
  2. i'll just remind that the game is in active development, not finished, so i'ts normal things aren't balanced the way they were in live. about corruption, it always existed, and always will exist everywhere, be it in politics or games. corruption and abuse of power is a part of human nature. if we can eliminate it, awesome, but it won't be gone for good - it always finds ways of coming back. that's why constant monitoring of these issues is important.
  3. unmapped sectors / navs has happened to me multiple times before too. a week ago, all of shepard, grissom and slayton and glory's orbit became unmapped to my 3 tt, te and ts.
  4. was going to suggest that too, colors and in chat
  5. IMO, adding a new shield bar for psi shield (and for the same matter, impervious haven), in different color, like purple, that was activated only when it's enabled, and visible to player and other players, would be the optimal method. problem is, it might be impossible.
  6. i lost some low level equipment (rada lvl4, some engines and rr+ for explore tours)... but most importantly, looted stuff, namely reactors, shields, devices. i detect at least the loss of 1 honor lvl4, 1 loa lvl4, heart reactors lvl2, 3 and 4, other low level reactors, scale lvl4, and a bunch of other shields and devices lvl1 to 5, at very least and looted ogun ammo. nothing else of importance i think. lost most of the stuff on the character i made last, the TS, in the vault. probably accounts for 1/3 of the vault. a guildie lost half or more of his vault.
  7. nice work suggestion, try adding some descriptions to the channels to notify users (upon login or join) what each channel is for.
  8. nice thread there. didn't knew it existed.
  9. this is what i mean with my example of ABA above.
  10. IMO, it's not really about macros. just travel. - if i have an explore tour, i could make a warp path and let it do the rest, while i chat or do something else ingame, in the same account or another account. for example, i came to the conclusion it's hard to do more than 1 explore tour at same time, even if all doing the same path at same time. too many variables and you can't pay enough attention to every detail, like mobs, scan, buffs or people talking to you (yes people distract you a lot). not as much beneficial to just 1 explore tour, but still beneficial. - if im traveling from aragoth to beta hydri, to get new gear, its much less of hassles to issue a travel path than to be there gating every time. probably eve does that, just from top of the mind (i didnt played eve). - if im traveling inside sectors, and i need to make shorcuts, warp paths would help. think ABA for example. theres a nav that is a shorcut to get into ABG, rather than going all the way around, passing by earth gate. how to do it? click the nav. then click ctrl/shift and the ABG gate. there, a warp path through 1 nav and 1 gate. - trade runs & jobs. - long distance traveling in general, provided you explored the navs and gates. - bored? make your ship travel randomly. the point is that it's not meant for macros. just a cool thing for those that travel a lot. a skilled programmer can already do that without needing this to be ingame anyway. i did write combat macros & chavez macros back in live, including multi-account usage, so i remember more or less how the application worked (not mentioning the name for the thread sake), and i don't think it's hard to do it without this functionality. if i were to make one, it wouldn't stop me by not having this implemented. while long distance traveling would be harder to do (interaction with galaxy map), nav warp path would be a little easier i think. and btw, Navigate skill mission does mention shorcut travelling...
  11. the idea comes from traveling with 3 characters at same time. i have to guide the 3 mouses (from each computer) every time i need to gate. with a hotkey would be much less of a hassle.
  12. writing them down in a wiki and ask devs to collaborate should do the trick on the documentation
  13. might not be possible, but here goes anyway. cool hotkeys gate (to go with warp ) register dock (could be same as gate) jumpstart target group leader's target (same as /assist) kill your self (just kidding )
  14. a list commands command, as outlined here /listcmd /cmdlist additionally, add a short description to each command. example output: List of available commands: /away <message> - marks yourself as away from keyboard, with optional message /assist <target> - targets the target's target /endtalk - ends the talk with the current non-playable character etc
  15. think shift + click or control + click for warp path in navs, then hit warp. red lines could appear in the map for the warp path. again, requires having the navs and gates explored to complete path. else, no go. or it would be too easy for galaxy map travel, hit a destination sector and hit warp.
  16. this idea is complex. - select from the galaxy map, a destination system/sector. - select multiple navs for warping. a warp path (involving or not stopping and restarting warp) requires having the navs and gates explored to complete path. else, no go. whats the use? go eat, to to toilet, go outside, etc, while our character travels for 30mins show your thoughts
  17. /assist and /assistme should also work for other targets, like stations and gates. and should stick after gating, if possible, unless in different sectors. useful in travel.
  18. add /away off alias of repeat /away command to disable.
  19. hey time to holler on those. we need them /assist /assist -> assist on/off on current target. /assist lpca -> assist lpca player /assist off or repeat /assist -> disable suggestion, make assist a toggle command (on/off, like /away). always target the target (player or mob) target. that way you can target the mob the leader is targeting for shooting, or target the player the mob is targeting to repair the player. /assistme /assistme -> request assist /assistme force -> force targeting for group (leader only) /assistme off or repeat /assist -> disable make /assistme & /assistme force toggle command too (on/off) buttons enable buttons for targeting / make them work, same way as /assist command
  20. accordingly to the docs pre-beta/alpha by westwood, Disable was going to be lvl1-9 passive skill. but the latest info i saw, made it a lvl1 skill only. like the other new skills (compulsory, haven, call forward) impervious haven was going to be implemented in the patch that never came to be. Ability Name: Disable Description: Skill level 1 creates a chance that penetrating a ship’s shields with beam or projectile weapons will temporarily disable weapons or systems on the ship. Character obtains the permanent effect Disable, with a linked magnitude equal to the character’s skill value.
  21. i know about Item Tech, Build Items, Culture and Lore, but they dont seem useful anymore. they look like pre- beta/alpha skills that were dropped. Culture is probably deprecated by Factions. Lore might had been related to exploration, probably deprecated as well. Build Items could have been a general build, that was superseded by the various Build Skills. Item Tech, the same, but with each equipment tech. it's probable that Turtle and Quickfire are one and the same. or not. Confuse, Distract, Charm and Compulsory Contemplation all look about the same.
  22. this is what i researched earlier, as posted in this thread i mixed in my thoughts about skill delays with all skills available/in files/researched. basically IMO its: - Compulsory Contemplation (JE) - confuse a single target (attacks any nearby target, hostile and friendly) - Charm (JS) - converts target for a short amount of time - Disable (JD) - disables skill use on target for a short amount of time - Call Forward (PS) - call forward a skill over target - Turtle/Quick Fire (PP, PW) - large shield over caster or group for a short amount of time - Illusion (TS) - ??? might create an hologram of caster (think Total Recall movie), to confuse hostiles - Impervious Haven (TT) - invulnerability over caster for a short amount of time - Analyse Weakness (TE) - ??? might display susceptiblness to damage, list of skills and other info on target not sure abou the PP/PW skill... check no info/opinion yet for skills that we have less info for. most would be lvl1 skills only, accordingly to sources. check links above
