shadowxsx
I am unsure if this is a bug/glitch or what it is,, But most of the time after I crash to login (gating/docking/random/undocking) I am unable to get back into game even though the proxy and client are still running in task manager. When I try logging back in I just get to the galaxy screen and sit there or past that to a black screen. Not a big deal to me, as I now just exit and log back in but I would say just a minor annoyance (aka: No biggie). But would be nice to be able to get directly back in.. The biggest issue IMO is that since sometimes I tribox (3 accts) I have a 1 in 3 channce of picking the correct task to end. Yet if I just exit the program then re-enter no issue as long as I do not try and relog to crashed acct. Lot
I like using process explorer (from sysinternals) instead of task manager because it shows process hierarchies i.e. which process is a child of another process -- handy for picking out proxy and client pairs. Clicking on a proxy and pressing ctrl-delete kills the proxy and any child processes -- it will kill the client automatically when it kills the proxy. Usually the black screened client has the lowest CPU -- that information might help pick which pair to kill. I regularly use process explorer to kill proxy/clients that won't go away!
