Resolution

Recommended Posts

bear in mind if you set the resolution to a non 4:3 setting eg 1920x1200 you still only get the equivalent of the 4:3 resolution from the height (in this case 1600x1200) but the pixels are stretched across the screen making everything appear distorted (stretched across the screen).

Your best bet is to choose the option 'preserve aspect ratios' in your graphics card and choosing one of the 4:3 aspects, like 1600x1200. Unless you've come to like the water-melon planets ...

I see that the other tread is locked .

Any chance that we will get support for nonsymetrical resolution .

What i mean , i use Eyefinity , that said i span the game ove 3 displays , reaching resolution of 5760 X 1080 .

And i really hate Mellon planets :(

Thanks for your time .

Highly doubtful unless we created our own client (that's not likely since it would take many months of programmer manhours and we wouldn't be able to make enough to pay them!) :)

Sorry, we've all imagined doing this, but alas, we are stuck with their client unless EA starts feeling kind one day and gives us that source. :D

This might not be the best place but ill take the chance :

Anyone know of a good tutorial for the "W3D engine" and if at all possible to get the engine somewhere .

I wanna try and mess around with it and see if it can be used to tweak the output game res.

I runed the game at the stated resolution great Graphics , the only problem is the mellon effect (picture is stretched ).

Any info about the game engine will help.

Thx
