Kindschi Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 I see when I launch Net-7 that there are several boxes that can be checked. Packet Opt, Debug Launch etc.. Right now none are checked and I seem to play just fine. Just curious what each one does and if any should be checked to help game performance. Falstar [MOD] Posted May 13, 2011 Report Share Posted May 13, 2011 Packet optimization allows for larger packets to be sent, and is good to use if you can. However some ISPs limit the size of packets requiring you to leave it at the default. Prototype reorder is a system Kyp is working with. It may help, it may not, or it may not seem to make a difference. Use it if you can, otherwise leave it off. Finally, as you probably have guessed, Debug launch is for tracking down problems if you are having issues and more likely to be used during tech support.
