CheezeBaal
a random night at the bar, had me working on my laptop among other things and i vaguely remembered video wallpaper. started looking around and this is the result. as you might be able to tell encoded at the highest settings and resolution it currently pulls almost a whole core on my 6 core rig just for the video. smaller looping vids do much better with system resources. i think i may put together some in-ship loops just to see how they look. go and look for dreamscape (microsoft, included with vista ultimate)and the enabling instructions if your so inclined. Kindschi
Very Cool... but my 10yr old Machine might just die if I tried to run that and the game at same time.
Orga1
Fascinating, i never knew a feature like this could exist in windows but it does! Unfortunately I have 64 bit version of win7, and I read it wont work on 64 bit. I don't know why maybe some could explain to me why? There is a web site on 32 bit win7 this well work you can enable "dreamscene" feature but sucks I can't enable it on my 64 bit. CheezeBaal
lol. i use it on my dual core lappy (dual core/ 4 gig mem) as well when i'm not doing anything to extensive. i turn it off if i'm doing graphics or video work but it's on if i'm doing general web browsing or mail etc. it sucks around 40% of my resources but rarely slows me down. apparently the smaller the video the less resources it uses. it impresses the gurls heh. working in a bar/resurant does have its advantages.
