psionicinversion Posted January 15 Report Share Posted January 15 RTX Remix looks quite impressive and seems simple enough for people who do this type of stuff regularly. Are you going to use it to introduce path tracing and to quickly enhance the games assets and stuff? Seems like it can give a relatively quick makeover to make an old game look far more impressive. Doctor Posted January 15 Report Share Posted January 15 Long story short: No. Why? EA wants this EMU dead. They tolerate us so long as we don't modify the client via a formal agreement (I believe). So, if someone in the community wanted to get this working and make a forum post? People can modify the clients themselves to their heart's content. I read a long time ago that EA allow it as long as they don't sell it but didn't know it included upgrading the assets and stuff. Maybe I'll have a go at it myself, see if I can do anything with it.
