So two days after I first started playing, we get rolled back and I loose everything. Then not long after that, just as I'm hitting the mid-range levels, ST3 ends and not only do I loose my character, but there is no longer an EXP bonus. It is only two days ago that I felt like getting back into the game, so now for the third time I am leveling my PW because by god I never got to 150 with my PW in live and I want to do it. I will hit the roof if there is another rollback. And by hit the roof I mean throw a temper tantrum and not play for a few months.

Repetitive action stresses nothing but my patience. EXP modifiers allow more people to test more content in a shorter amount of time.

This is a minor recommendation for a nav point or two connecting the gates in the Akeron's Gate sector so that you don't have to fly in an arc to reach the other gate. There are probably some other sectors that could use a few new nav points because you end up plotting a course between stuff that isn't a beacon (Primus).

There should be an easy way to tell if accounts are no longer used and if they're test accounts. Maintenance like this should not require a database wipe, if it does you are doing something wrong.

I believe I once read that setting net7proxy.exe to run in compatiblity mode for Windows XP would solve this problem. Don't take my word for it though.

Considering how skills are going to be modified for balance and other skills might not be operating correctly at the time, I think some way of implementing a skillpoint respec is worth the effort.

If it is necessary to wipe all accounts to make sure that people don't have special permissions that shouldn't then you have a bad system. That currently is irritating me at the moment is noone seems to know what is going on and who actually did what. Was this a badly planned and executed test of some sort, or was it a person abusing their powers?

None of that is an excuse to give people unpleasant surprises in the form of instant death and large XP debt. If devs wanted to test something they should have told us so we could either help or know what the hell is going on.

The ping works for him apparently. I also should have noted that it also timed out for me when trying to check for updates, but it seems to be working normally again.

I was hoping to introduce my friend to E&B tonight. That plan got smashed to pieces.

Just what the topic title says, a friend is unable to play because his Net7 won't update to the latest version.

I'm also wondering this because there doesn't seem to be a clear indicator for new people telling them how to get an in-game account registered.My account is working fine, but I'm asking because I have introduced a friend to E&B.

As much as I might enjoy exploring the galaxy looking for places to hunt, I will soon not have alot of time to use up exploring. So some guidance as to where to hunt at different levels would be nice.

Is it so difficult to get a hold of the devs?

I assure you that I have not been excited to see them when I have repeatedly been killed by L63-66 Vrix during my attempts to enter or exit Arx Tiberius in Tarsis.

I agree with the communication point. It seems so many people logged on asking if there was a character wipe or what was going on. I thought the NET7 Launcher could display news, why wasn't news of changes and/or rollbacks announced this way so people could know what is happening before logging on? Specifically I would like it if this was used to let us know when the Vrix are finally removed from Tarsis so I'll know when I'm able to play PW again.

Are they all gone? I've gotten killed by that group several times on docking and undocking.

I'm curious as to how useful those files would be for developing the emulator? I would assume that captured packets are the most useful data.
