NobleInuit
Hey guys, I got the "Global server could not connect" or whichever the global server error is before being able to log in but I knew the server was online so I uninstalled everything and re-installed. Now when trying to get the updates for Net7 I get the error: "Update failed. Downloaded file in invalid. Hash of downloaded file and hash in server manifest does not match. File C:\Program Files\Net-7\bin\LaunchNet7.exe.tmp" I'm running Windows 7, running as admin and compatability for Windows XP SP2. Not really sure what to do as it used to work fine, but randomly won't now. Any help is appreciated! Thanks guys.

Kyp [LDEV]
I'll say, the file LaunchNet7.exe.tmp doesn't exist on the server side. Do you have it on your side? User, I can detect no problems with that file please provide the full error message.
naso
sure it reads update failed . downloaded file is invalid. hash of downloaded file and hash in server manifest does not match . file c\program files x86.../mixfiles/mixfile_art_12.th6 . thats it . every time i update i tryed deleting file ,forcing update ,reinstalling between each try and all sorts of stuff wouldnt wanna bother u guys if i havent tryed all sorts of stuff yet. i should have mentioned that sorry . this is also a fresh install of windows and the game and all . even got the c++ redist and all that installed used the n7 installer thats like 100mbs . also all permissions are set .. they were actully set by default by the installer ...(btw awsome job with that) i did check them and everything is good so .... any ideas would be great ! ty but seriously whoever made the n7 installer great job with it auto setting permissions im sure it helped out alot of people nice not having to set it all myself even noticed it set the enbconfig as admin
Kyp [LDEV]
Oi. explains a lot .th6 shouldn't be in there at all. Those files are calculated by your game client based on your specs. I will remove them but I'm afraid I can't patch it yet without checking to see if anyone's put anything into the client for the beta release. I don't want to accidentally push something that shouldn't be out yet!
NobleInuit
[quote name='Kyp' timestamp='1342485126' post='60515'] I'll say, the file LaunchNet7.exe.tmp doesn't exist on the server side. Do you have it on your side? [/quote] I just can't seem to get rid of it. I delete it and it just comes back. No wonder it doesn't match if the file doesn't actually exist! Hahah
Kyp [LDEV]
ok, should be good to go, though i'd recommend a complete reinstall if you're still having problems with what you had. This should be true for both of you.

BionicDance
How many of those mixfiles are there? I'm up to _art_22 and I've been downloading for about an hour...
Kyp [LDEV]
35 seems a number ot be popping into my head Bionic, and they aren't small files. They're chock full of art, sound and video, the biggest part of the download. :)
