Kyp [LDEV] Posted May 12, 2012 Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 For some reason you have this character from extended ascii in a character name: [url="http://www.unicodemap.org/details/0x3763/index.html"]http://www.unicodemap.org/details/0x3763/index.html[/url] this config file needs to be deleted so that it can re-register & recreate that file. I believe you're going the find the offending file in either %APPDATA% (type into explorer and hit enter to get taken to this directory on your system, wherever it is registered) Or in your net7 folder. I would delete any you find just to be sure. Somehow an illegal character (the one linked above) has been recorded to this file, and its not been taught to read this type of character, and thus you receive the error you're experiencing. Atani Posted May 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 (edited) was in net7/bin cdat, well that is to say, i know it was in the net7 folder & was named cdat, and i THINK it was in the bin... had a few beers & a few shots since then though...
