Something might have changed your settings to break IE and in doing so, broke our launcher, which relies on IE settings to work. Check and see if you can get to any websites with IE. That's a pretty common thing I think. Like you, a lot of people never touch IE after they use it to download chrome or FF as soon as they install windows.
