1. After a bit of work I manged to get the configs to run. The launcher loads, shows the sunrise server is online, but when I click play there is a brief delay, and I get: Server failed to respond to logon attempt. This happens with both normal and admin launch of the launcher. Any assistance would be appreciated.
2. Just wanted to give N7 a head;s up that we're getting the login server down message when we try to log in. Thanks.
3. Hey guys I've tried every solution since I installed this, and every time I get to the game's login screen, it says it cant detect my account. Anyone know what to do?
4. After a full setup and an update with Launchnet (all files are up-to-date) i try to start the game. Selected host sunrise.net-7.org and start the game, however i'm not able to login with my credentials into the game. I even tried to change my HOST file and flush my dns....nothing works.   any sugestions?
5. Hi All, I think I reported this before some time ago, it's doing it again though, I ran XP Pro, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 OS's, am currently running Windows 8 64 Bit, with all that said, the LaunchNet7 v2.0.0 Hangs, and progress bar hangs for about 10 minutes to login, I reset the updates, did a debug, and configure the game, an even load the certificate all those did not correct it, it still hangs, an it only does this on one machine, in fact in the past with all those OS's mentioned it did it also, no other machine we have here does this, this Windows 8 is a fresh install too, about 3 or 4 months ago.   After the 10 minute wait to login, everything runs like a clock, no problems in game at all, why is this happening, I don't know, any tips, or advice will be appreciated please, dislike waiting that amount of time just to load the Launcher and hit play   Thank you if you can advise    Brack   Update, I tried to put an attachment screenshot of what's going on with the Launcher, unfortunately, am over my quota to post any photos here on the forums, Message below says this, ( You have exceeded your allotted disk space for attachments ) That's probably related to my Beta time with the crew here, I used screenshots to explain my tests with the game, any case, it's still happening, its still a 10 minute wait for the Launcher to load and hit Play, an another minute for the TOS to display to agree to login.   Here's the path on the Launcher currently used   C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe     Update again, Aug 3 2013, I uninstalled the Launcher, and downloaded fresh install from the site, Browsers used was Google Chrome first, then IE 10, install exe was saved to downloads file, both times I set to Admin, with UAC turned off, now the Launcher hangs for 10 to 15 minutes sometimes doesn't load at all. The other machines load in seconds, this really a puzzle I tried everything I can think of to solve it, I need help please to correct this.   Update Aug 9 2013, Hullo its still doing it as of this date, I disabled IPv6 that didn't work either, I switched router ports that didn't work either, Network on our machines here runs smooth as glass. all other machines to the same router launch within seconds, the one machine in question being a pain. I uninstalled the Launcher, and the Game 3 times to see if that would work, it didn't, I did a clean sweep of all files, an did a defrag before installing again, I run scans to see if something a miss, machine a-okay. all windows updates are current, along with the latest Graphic drivers nVidia 320. Build, I eve did a rollback to see if that was the issue, it wasn't though.   Update, Aug 14 3911  My next step is to do a reformat to see if that takes care of it. wish there was a delete Topic post, I remove this post its been here a month now with no suggestions, oh well, on to the next step thank you anyway.
6. Hi guys and gals, After spending close to an hour perusing the forums (I'm a moderator on another site - I know how it goes), I've had to throw up my hands trying to login through LaunchNet7. So, according to the last thread I read, it seems I need additional help. After the 2nd (very long) round of updates, I wound up with some kind of .NET error. I 'Coninue'd that, and it didn't seem like anything broke. Each host server checks out as 'OFFLINE', but the Net-7 site says the server(s) is up with 101 online at the time I'm writing this. When I clicked the update status bar at the bottom, it gave 2 separate 404 errors. I turned debug launch on, and it says this: WorkingDir: F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Net-7\bin File Name:F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Net-7\bin\Net7Proxy.exe Params:/ADDRESS:74.208.132.71 /CLIENT:"F:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\EARTH&~1\release\client.exe" /LC /SSL:443 /DEBUG /SP I'm am on a LAN. My modem/router is downstairs in the main house, tied to a switch in my upstairs apartment. The IP listed on the Net7Launch is my local 192.168.0.2. I've opened port 443 for every EnB executable. Do I need to do a port forward or something on my modem? I played EnB for quite a while about 8 years ago (but I got to the point to where I could no longer pony up the monthly fee), and I have to say it's in my top 2 fave games ever, FF7 being the other one. So, whatever help is muchly appreciated. If I've missed something in the forums, I apologize very much. Thanks in advance! Looking forward. Best, Mizagorn EDIT: Oh, and then a command prompt comes up with: F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Net-7\bin>cd "F:\Program Files\EA GAMES \Earth & Beyond\Net-7\bin" F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Net-7\bin>"F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Ea rth & Beyond\Net-7\bin\Net7Proxy.exe" /ADDRESS:74.208.132.71 /CLIENT:"F:\PROGRA~ 1\EAGAME~1\EARTH&~1\release\client.exe" /LC /SSL:443 /DEBUGL /SP And then a popup window: |Net7Proxy| Server Failed to respond to Login attempt <OK>
7. Ever since the update that introduced 9 accounts and account transfer, I have been unable to login to the Net-7.org website to view the database on my main computer with Firefox. I click login, type in my details and hit OK and nothing happens. I've disabled all the add-ons and tried it again with no luck. Nothing happens when I click OK or hit enter, no loading dialogue or error message, but the window closes if I hit the 'close' button. So I tried using I.E. and it works just fine there. Figured maybe an add-on or something is interfering with firefox that prevents the net7 site from working properly and used IE instead. But now a second computer without the same add-ons for firefox is doing the same thing too, IE works fine on that one as well. The third computer has no trouble logging in with firefox and does have all the same add-ons as the first. All three computers are using Win7 x64, Firefox 11. Any ideas? I've tried disabling all add-ons and reinstalled Firefox with no change. P.S. The forum seems to capitalize every word in my thread title
8. Sorry to be such a noob, but I'm still trying to figure out if the server is down or if there's something wrong on my end, because I haven't been able to get into the game at all yet and since 11am EST yesterday I have been getting 'cannot connect to server' and 'coudn't connect to global server' messages whenever I run the client. It's annoying because it's on the login screen and megan still talks and all that jazz. I just want to play EnB for the first time in nine years!! haha So once again, sorry everyone for spamming/being such a noob/cluttering the tech forum with my dumb questions....
