I don't normally care for the chat programs either, at least on a wide scale basis.. Used vent in live during some raids, occasional groups, but not for everyday chat. Might consider going back to that as development progresses. I was on TS2 for awhile, until the DEVS went underground, then slowly the BETAs too... I had mostly kept my mouth shut, but occasionally voiced an opinion, or an idea to be considered, but the entire reason I was there, was as a meeting point for the DEVS and BETAs too.. After that chatted a little bit, since I knew I wouldn't be disturbing the DEVS locked away in thier room. So I quit logging on eventually. Now we're encouraged to use the forums to voice opinions/ideas. 'nuff said Game wide.. I mean, if you want to put up a server and invite everyone, that's up to you. I'm sure some, if not alot, will log in. May get some churn, have some regulars, etc.

It's late and I'm not going to read this whole thing, to be honest... In live, 'cherry picking' didn't bother me... I wouldn't rush for that sweet lv9 grail water if another player was around and not rushing for it, but if they were, then the race was on... and that roid would respawn eventually anyway. But this isn't live.. The whole deal about having to clear an entire field before any single roid respawns changes the mechanics... Haven't prospected enough since that change, around others, for it to be an issue, but then I've not hardly prospected since ST3 ended either... No opinion yet, with that in mind, just wanted to mention that point for those not familiar with prospecting, or don't prospect that often.

Had wife faction in live that I had to consider... some years after sundown, changed that in to ex-wife faction, so that don't matter anymore... Muwhahahaha

Well, if you can call running a small ISP IT, then yes, been doing it for something like 15 yrs, even longer if you count in-house. Everything from customer tech support, doing own repairs, to NOC... luckily I never had to be an email server admin. Learned by doing for the most part, or looking into what I'd like to do, if ever allowed the equipment and time. Think the boss is finally starting to learn how much I really do. Customer Support takes up almost all of my time, so He's been mad at me alot for the last 4 years, and actually had hired me some help for part of that. Got alot done during that time, so I'm only about 5 years behind where I need to be now. So, if that's IT, then I guess I am.
