    It's because the weapon itself is powerful so the cost of firing it is on the extreme side. Welcome to the cost of the high end.

    That would only slow things down for people who know what they are doing to rebuild IF they wanted to replay the game again to that large of a extent. It would have to be a major rebalance with new gameplay in order for the wipe to mean something. A really huge change maybe but if it's some minor rebalancing on a weapon that wouldn't make sense. We are talking where the Wiki would become useless as there is a ton of useful and helpful information that has been collected for many years. A wipe isn't going to do anything at this point.

    Ive spent most of the day trying to leave Arx ymir. Ive almost given up.

     

    Back to the Wifi, I play many other online MMO's and dont have any issues with latency. Even on Wifi.

    Been Playing Eve Online most the day, because I cannot leave the station.

     

    Love this game, I'll keep trying. But its not looking.

     

    Keep up the good work guys. I know you have/had a tremendous task getting this baby back.

    Try not using wifi to see if you have a difference. This game is VERY sensitive to wifi connections. Any form of signal interrupt will cause the game to hang on you on wifi. Give it a shot, at the very least you can say you tried.

    Hey folks. Please submit GM Tickets for issues like lost toons on accounts so they can investigate the issue. Keep in mind you there is going to be a massive time delay in resolving those issues. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT create a new toon on an existing account that has missing toons to prevent possible issues in restoring those toons (that is assuming it is even possible to do in the future). If you discover anything broken in the game that would be gameplay related please post here.

    I don't want to say it's 100% dead, but at least thus far I do not have a .sql file for it, even though I may have the actual software from the disks we recovered. 

    Some of our sql was hit, which is why we had to spend some time rebuilding databases, it could be that it met an unfortunate fate at the hands of the bad guys.

    Keep up the amazing work and take your time to get it done right (and also to keep your sanity). This stuff is not easy especially when it's this huge of a process with the very limited staffing/hours you guys have. When it's back up it's back up and that will be a great day for all of us to enjoy a game we all love and hold in a special place in our hearts.

    MieuxTS has now appeared under my account. Must have been a cashing issue. I do see other toons that I have deleted however (MieuTE and MieuzTE) but I am not worried about that right now.
