    Keeping this civil here and nothing personal to cinbad. He has been MIA for a very long time. I hear rumors of this and that but nothing confirmed. The fact is the position is being unfilled as it is. It is time to elect another ADV. I truly hate the thought of another election so maybe this time ask the nominees to pledge that if for some reason they can not fulfill the position they will step down right away(I don't know). How about who ever is second place be put as ADV back up and if the ADV is inactive for a period of time the back up is automatically moved up. Just a suggestion. Please just please who ever it is if you want the job do the job!!!

    On Static's last turn in DT we had Scooter trigger disappear on us as well. While I do not wish to accuse anyone and yes accidents do happen I see a pattern here. The cow spawned and 2 hours later we went to kill it and it was gone. After that we left toons logged in plain sight and no more disappearing triggers.

    Static on the 9th of January will be hosting a free PRS day to the public. Well free for the first 12 people in line. Static WILL pay your entry fee to the PRS. Thats right all you got to do is bring ammo and your own beer, snacks, and smiling faces. Lets have a good time.

     

    1. First 12 from the public for each raid is paid for by Static.

    2. DEV's need to sign off on this and of course be present to activate.

    3. First raid is at NOON CST. This will give the Euro guys a chance at at least 1 raid.

    4. Second raid is at 3PM CST.

    5. Third and last raid will be at 6PM CST.

    6. Static has lots of goodies that we will hand out after each raid!!!!!!

    7. Public players will decide what raid is to be done.

    8. Please show up early to make sure you get a spot and others dont have to wait for you.

     

    Leave Politics at the door and please be respectful to others.

    EVERY !!!!!!!!!!!  raid can be done by 6 toons , and i know of players that can multibox 6 toons to do this . Soooooooooooooo there goes your 12 player theory .............. So lets make triggers a Free for all , and to hell with the order rotations have brought . So lets stick to the rules of the game and not common sense and open the raids .................................... I THINK NOT !!!!!!

    Getoffme pulled out of the discussions for a reason.  That reason was that you guys were not letting us in and were stalling.  We knew taking raids down with ongoing discussions would not be looked at kindly.  Shortly thereafter we took some GOBB raids down that happened to belong to VGE and the discussion was reopened shortly afterward.

     

    This is a minor detail though.  The real issue here is that you say you would let people in after they proved themselves but you are really not telling the truth.  Epic took the GOBB to prove that we could field a raid and Static demanded that we take down the RD base.  We took the rd base and you still refused to let us in.  You would have never let another group in the raid rotation until your hand was forced by the threat posed by the public.

    The reason getoffme pulled out of the discussion had nothing to do with what you posted. WOW He pulled out after being confronted with the FACT that EG was supplementing its numbers with another guild in the rotation already. I was at that meeting buddy you should not spout crap cause I will call you on it. Gettoffme was told directly if he booted the NON-EG raiders from your guild he would be put in the rotation if EG could legitimately field the raids. He choose not to do so. His doing not Static. The puppet master (not gettoffme) used EG to get even with slights that went down years before and the current Static members had nothing to do with. We (Static, VGE and BI) did our best to come up with something that was fair for the whole server and I think we did a dam good job!!!

     

     

    Nothing but GREED and stomping feet like children to get more loot. I was wondering when the threats would start and now they have. I was surprised who the threats came from first though. As others have stated many times theses raids can be done with 1 group and will be done just like that if a few get their way here. Then we will be back here listening to the same people cause they dont get to raid at all or that only a hand full of people are doing the raids Blah blah blah it goes on and on.

     

    I keep seeing post claiming that the BIG 3 dont represent the majority of the server pop when we all know they do but somehow the BIG 3 should not get the raids as it is now. If you represent 25% you should get 25% NOT 75%.

     

    The facts are,

    1. Most on the server get to raid regularly.

    2. The rotation HAS kept the peace.

    3. Keep going on with this and sooner or later the DEV's will step in and as stated already we will not like it.

    4. Far more have stated to leave things alone so why does this not end?

    5. PRS DUH!!! Want more loot? Use it!!! The DEV's worked hard to help us out so use it.

    End game raid content is unfortunately crippled in the emulator. We all want that content, some more than others, but we have to make concessions so it remains fun and enjoyable and not an exercise in frustration.

    ALL raids can be done with a single group who has a plan and works well together. I know for a fact that we in VGE can do that and i've seen posts from others stating the same.
    Raids are under-powered to various degrees and there is one main reason for that.

    A high player count in a single area is problematic. I think most will agree that 2 groups is the tipping point before lag and disconnections ruin the fun and effectiveness of everyone involved. Unfortunately the server can't handle the background graphics. decorations, Space objects, NPCs, enemies and all the players ships, weapon and skill efects and calculations. I believe the current state of development makes nearly impossible for the devs to change this.
    It would have been a blessing if we could all work together.

    I'll admit the rotation schedule is by no means perfect but i feel the proposed 6 week change has the same issues with the current. It seems you think Static raids with BI, BI raids with VGE etc

    In the current schedule BI, Static, VGE and Public are allotted one slot for the same raid effectively performing the same raid once per month or 25% within the schedule.
    In the proposed schedule Static, BI and VGE are allotted one slot every 6 weeks for the same raid (~16%) and Public 3 same raids within the 6 weeks (50%).

    I wonder if this can be considered a fair improvement by all.


    An issue of Timezones(TZ) was mentioned. We have observed that if a raid is completed within the confines of a TZ the next spawn usually happens within that TZ again giving to the same people the ability to redo the raid in their time. This will roll over to the next rotation slot and so on until someone complains.
    Its hard enough as it is to resolve that within a single guild, i've seen it, let alone when multiple guilds with multiple members scattered across all TZ are involved.
     
    Lastly i gotta ask. What are the rules of public rotation raids regarding who can participate and loot distribution in addition to having toons in multiple 'raid competing' guilds.
    Can i have a toon in eg Sirius Cybernetic Corporation, Driver Carries no Cash, The Disciples of Ore and in VGE or Static or BI? Does that give me the opportunity to participate in all scheduled rotation raids and loot distribution? I know VGE, BI and Static have their own rules about that so what are the Publics rules on those?
    If Public rotation raids are open to everyone and Prrekoorb, Allura and Raiderman join one before the ranks are full, then a Public player shows up later what are the rules about that?

    Changes without clarifying the underlying rules wont resolve the rotation issues.
    Make a concise proposition that addresses all the points of concern, i believe reasonable people play this game and you will find allies if what you say is well thought out.

    If you think making these events triggered will remove all rotation issues i'll support it even though i fear they will bring more serious problems for the player base.

    You are way over stepping your non-elected post as ADV here. I seem to remember most of the same people here trashing Alurra when she posted on matters like this. I remind you that you are a go between the players and the DEV's. That in no way gives you the power (for lack of a better term) to project yourself into player agreements.  You have no right to call a vote. Your authorities only go so far as to send request and questions to the DEV's and then post answers to them. BTW when was the last time you did that? You seem to have time to post here but not your responsibility's as ADV.

    AA's,,,,   I would like to see them drop alot more often. I understand that they are classified as rare loot so with an increase in drop rate why not make it so that when you turn it in it has a great chance of going poof. I think it would be more fun to see one once in a while then never see one at all.
