  1. Hi guys,     Think everyone is getting this error since around 1415 GMT.   Just to make sure Devs/GMs are aware or at least informed about the issue...
  2. Guild: Space Riders Inc. Founder: Hercpw Next in Rank: Ashvance
  3. It's fine :) I understood that tech part... I have some experience with VTCs, with gatekeepers, VCUs, etc... and MTU is a familiar subject for me...   My main problem is the stupid ISP I have... apparently doesn't give me total admin access or at least MTU setup is not configurable (and doesn't show) :(   Anyways, as far as I know the standard MTU used in most routers by default is 1500, and I just checked my PC is set to 1500 as well...   I may try to lower PC's MTU to 1492 (another common default value), but if router is at 1500 will make no difference, and since I can't confirm router's MTU... oh damnit!!! :)
  4. 4k seems more stable... even though I had a couple crashes/frezzes... would say it increases my online stability to 2 hours in average. Will continue testing...
  5. tried the 1M... no changes, after 1 hour freezes...   Trying 4k atm... past the 1 hour mark... will post results in 4 hours or so
  6. More or less... I have admin access to my router (obviously) and have some basic knowledge. What do you want me to do or advise?
  7. Confirmed... 5 hours playing on the desktop, without any other client running, and the problem remains, only difference is now I can play for around 1 hour before it freezzes or crash.
  8. Playing only with desktop, the average time being stable online increases to about 1 hour...   Do you think this problem its all about the mulibox? I know you don't support multibox, despite allowing it... but what surprises me is that I have almost no problems when multiboxing on laptops... and considering they're using a wireless network compared with the desktop wired connected to the router.   I'm not a big fan of multibox, only use it when I have no friends online to help in specific missions, and never more than 2/3 accounts logged simultaneously.   In ST3/4 I never had this problems on the desktop... even when using those 2/3 accounts on that same desktop.
  9. Hello,   I really need help, been reading several posts in the forum, talked with ppl online, and can't figure out what's wrong. Details:   I play EnB on 3 different PCs, 1 desktop, 2 laptops, all running windows 7 with all updates. (note: laptops are connected to a wireless router, desktop is WIRED connected to same router, fiber connection 100mb) Playing on both laptops I have no problem, apart from the now and then crash while gating or docking, which was "normal" even during EA live period.   Now, the problem is playing on the desktop (note: this is the very same desktop I used during ST3/4, without ANY problem back then, and the only "change" I made, was the update/upgrade on the anti-virus/firewall software... but during my tests I even disabled completly this software).   After logging I can play up to 10mins without lag or any problems (in a good day, up to 30mins) even during 30% full server. The first effect is that suddendly (being in a fight, activating a gate, mining, etc...) seems to lose connection, like I'm playing alone, unable to interact with whatsoever. So, I need to manually force to close the program through the task manager, and also closing the net7proxy process.   Then, I try again, but now it freezes on the character selection screen... so, again need to manually force to close the program, bla bla...   Try again, and now I manage to login, and happens the "null item" thingy with all items in store and equipment, so I need to relog... I exit the game, and finally I manage to login without any problem.   ... for 10 mins average! lol   and repeat... all crap again... always the same steps...   seriously... I even reinstalled everything 4/5 times (a couple times the game from original CDs + net7 emu; other times all the applications you have on the download page)   Followed all advices I read on forums (IPv6, etc...) and nothing...   help please?
  10. Lisbon, Portugal Due to work and family, only managed to get back in game a couple weeks ago. My very first MMO, started playing a couple weeks after release until a month before sunset. My server was Andromeda, my 2 main characters were Luispaulo (TE) and Luispw (PW of course) Anyone out there from the guild, back in live, Andromeda Elite? Awesome job Devs... keep up the good work!!
  11. All working now... I guess the problem was something to do with using my mobile connect pen... When I got home, and connected through wireless it downloaded immediatly without errors. Thanks for the attention.
  12. Hello, First of all, awesome job bringing back such a great game! I'm already successfully playing EnB on a desktop and my wife's laptop, without any problems whatsoever during the installation and running the game itself. However, today I tried to install it on my laptop, following all steps I've done with the previous 2 installations but after running LaunchNet7 for the first time, and during the installation of Client update version 93 it comes up an error "InvalidArgument = Value of '5' invalid for 'index'. Parameter name: Index." This error is translated from Portuguese, so in English might be slightly different. Can you help me? Note: this laptop was used a couple years ago when I first tried to make EnB work with your old software/server, but at that time without success... although I did clean it all up since then.
