Hi lads and ladies!   I have a weird problem on my laptop (Win8 PRO). After i login successfully, select then toon i want to play and press enter, i instantly CTD.   Any hint to where i should start look?   Regards   /Z   

Solved it using "use local cert". When using play2 u need to rereg the cert.

Ofc i pressed "Cancel".. its when i type in login/pass and press enter i get the msg! I played ST3, so i know the drill

Well, i succefully activated 2 + 1 account (my both old, and a one new), im logged on to the "new" website when i type this. When connecting using play2.net-7.org, the game starts. But when i try to login, i get the message that "EA.com is temporarily unavailable" (see below) What did i miss? /Zaxxon

I tried to activate my old account, and got a error saying that EA.com loginserver aint online .. bit fishy... Tried to make a new account, copy paste of url to active.. same thing, some EA error, when hitting enter. /Zaxxon

Well, tbh im more into action than sneaking around mining roids. So it will def be one of the warrior classes, atm im a TE, insanely fun to play. Also no prob to kite anything. I have a JD aswell, but the beam-range always kills me when i encounter more than 3 mobs (at the same CL). I played a PW in live.. tank 'n spank .. no need to argue bout that.. Im kinda solo player, i like to explore and be far far away =) i like to play a warrior with a bit finesse... with some help of a partner, in this case a JE (i do like shield, JS, cloak, WH) So what combo (multibox) would you think be a good idea? JD/JE, PW/JE or TE/JE ? /Zaxxon

Sure, would be no problem, but i doubt they gonna put up the code on the site, atleast now. I found a easier way tho! Im using netsh to do som changes instead. I just made a virtual adapter (VMw based) and changed the interface metric of the "card" so Net7 uses that NIC instead of the default NIC of the computer (which the first instance of Net7 is using) That way, i use my own NIC as proxy to i-net instead of trying to open the same port from two diff applications, which is a fail if they use SSL. /Zaxxon

Thanx for the responses, Daywolf is right tho. Im more into thinkin the devs would allow us to run two EnB account on the same machine. Im a IT dev myself so MS licenses aint a problem. If the is a way to change Net7 connection port from a span like 10 ports ill be able to acctualy run 2+ instances of Net7. And Yes, VMWare works fine, but since VMWare dont have any hardware accelerated GFX, the FPS is kinda.. well.. low tbh =) If any dev reads this: Would it be hard to setup a span of ports to use when connecting? Will there be (or have plans) to make a installation-package to EnB-emu? Or will we continue to download the "live" version and patch it? /Zaxxon

Ill go hide behind a 'roid in EVE to mine a bit, then i guess i do do the normal dailys in WoW, and eventually some PvP in Aion. When EnB goes "sharp", ill toss all other games away tho! If devs will make this game to stay (anytime soon ), by god im gonna support it with all means i can!!

Hello all! This might be a bit aquard, still id like to know how (if even possible) to run two instances of EnB on the same computer. I do (by all means) have the power to do it, but if i start the game from two different installations, i only get one to acctually start. The second one has some port problems, and cant open the right ports to start. My setup: Core I7 3GHz w/ 12Gb ram, 2 * radeon 4870, 3 * 24" monitors attached running Ultimate Win7 x64. So, to all out there, if it works. How can i do it?? PS. If this is "illegal" in anyway, just toss this post away! Regards /Zaxxon

Yes, it is/was fun ideed.. this time i wont spent SP on worthless skills, hehe... Gonna stay TE this time aswell.. not fibbling with all other classes .. Note to devs: Plix let us keep the toons when going from ST4 -> ST5/"emulated-live" Cheers /Z

Nice that ST4 will start on monday, but will the new ST last a few month and end with a new wipe like the one on sunday aswell? Cheers /Z

Hey all! I know the dev's and gm's have normal jobs and working hard on the emulator aswell. But wouldn't it be cool, if atleast a line of info came out from time to time? Like now, server is down.. and noone knows why. Dont get me wrong here, its very appreciated that ppl use theire freetime to work on this. Also i would be more than happy to contribute with the same amount of doe as for any other MMO (monthly payment.. say 10-15 euros/month)?, once they get it up for good, w/o murdering our toons! Hello everyone! This is a serious question, so please dont reply with off topic responses. I've been playing numerous online RPG over the years (im 40 years old), still, i havent played a game thats even close to the thrill i had with EnB. So, my question to the community (i have to start somewhere). What whould it cost in develeopment time (ish) ... (dont bother the cost (for now)), to make a "EnB-2"? If im to finance (part or whole, we dont need to discuss that now) a eventual game release of "EnB-2", i need to get in contact with people who has the same interest in this game as me.
