  1. I have said this in a couple of other threads but i'll repeat here.
    Mobs AND players would constantly recharge their shields regardless of damage taken.

    Good try, but no. Shield recharge was there so you shields would recharge when you took break from damage. For progen sentinels that was powerdown, for every other class (except TT duh), that was warp away. That was solo play.
     

  2. I dont remember mobs shields regenerating either. One good example is the Voltoi boss. One of the group memebers kept firing him when other took care of minions so that shields would not regen.

    Shield regen might of been enabled on some mobs (like Nathan Zao who I never met), but it sure was not enabled for all mobs/bosses.

    I'm all for it tho. Like the saying goes... be careful what you wish for. Can be fun ;-)
  3. in "Live" as in the Emu, im sure warp initiation speed was based on the slowest person in the group.

    I had insta warp on my JE and he would hang while the slowest in the group fired up his engine.

    just as warp/impulse were average from group members, warp start/cooldown were also average* from grouped members stats.

     

    I know it for a fact as 2004 I made guildie dizzy when went a bit far with toggling warp button on/off (max JE/TT, some other chars)

     

    * not sure if arithmetic average, weighted, something else, but it was instant warp/stop/warp/stop/....

  4. I used to love the /tip function of the WW Live, due to the ease at which it was to tip builders or for taxis giving WH's around.  Made it a lot easier to transfer credits between characters not near each other as well.

     

    Any chance to see this function in the emu?

    /tip command?

  5. I'll let you decide if this change really prevents what the Devs want to stop...

    Disabling auto gating into unexplored system was not meant to prevent using 5 disposable alts for explore xp.

     

    Using disposable alts that way is very old. Auto gate only brought it to masses, because it required no more effort than warping single character around.

     

     

    The community does know what it wants. It wants to prevent an obvious loophole in the exploration system.

    Only solution for that is to either remove group explore xp, or limit explore level range like combat xp is.

     

    You suggestion of limiting char creation is good too, but like denying auto gate to unexplored system, it only slows it down and does not stop it.

  6. I dont understand how any of you thought having that many accounts...then making group gate....would result any other way.......??????????

    tunnel vision. read the suggestion topic how to fix it and you'll see it in action. none of those are viable options and would make the whole experience worse.
