I just installed the game and patch as directed when I started playing. Since I am NOT computer friendly, How would I know how to find the path for my enb game client? Please be specific since I am a computer idiot? This all started to happen right have the last server downtime about a day ago. Note: I have been using the same username and password for over a month with no problem. Now I suddenly am confronted with an invalid log in and asked to use the default launcher. All this happened since the last server downtime.

Ghent, I have two separate accounta and haven't been running them at the same computer. Also, now both accounts aren't accepted. I also don't usually run both accounts at the same time eve on two separate computers. I NEVER run the two accounts simultaneously on the same computer. This whole problem occured after the last crash a day ago. I was only running one account. This isn't a multiple account issue.

I am trying to log in using my regularly user name and password. However, I get an error message that " Your log in does not appear to be valid. Use the default launcher." HELP , I can't log on.I am using Vista and have been able to play using my username and password for months. Now it doesn't accept my username and password from the same computer. Here is what I tried: I have read the FAQ under tech support and tried the performace test after going to econfig.exe I have also forced an update ,twice, to the net 7 proxy to no avail. I have also restarted my computer to no avail. I can log into Net 7 with one account but now not with the other one. If you email me, I will give you my user name and password for each account. This was sent to cdev. Also, what is the default lanucher that this error message relates to? I am a TT with a five in the negotiate skill. The 100K+ is from one round trip of trade.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. It is only six jumps each way from Fenrus to Sumerled and 6 back. It is at least that to Ragnorak from Fenrus. However, Fenrus to Ragnorak and back is atleast as long as Sumerled to Fenrus. However, Sumerled fenrus giveS at least 100k each way. However the fenrus mission,which isn't repeatable gives 6K in explore. It just doesn't justify the time. Even the job terminal missions give three times this experience with one-third the time. Bottom Line. NPC missions should be substantially improved or everone will just do trade or job terminal missions and ignore NPC missions.

I just did a mission given in Fenrus where I had to bring back ingredients from Trader's Fort in Ragnorak twice! Despite the large amount of time that it took to finish both round trips, I got only 6000 explore exp. In that same time I could have completed almost three round trip Fenrus-sumerled runs for over 200000 exp. I think you need to up the expernece from this and some other missions.

Tyran, I would prefer a question mark that shows what I can do. Howeverw, if that isn't available, I would like to see what NPCs have general missions for all classes.

It would be great if we could have various colored question marks above NPCs showing types of missions available. Thus, there would be four colors of questions marks: one for each race that will show the type of race that can benefit from this particular NPC mission. The fourth color would be one that any race can take advantage of. Even better would be to show the recommended level of the mission.

I have been playing on my laptop,which has been surprising stable for this game. Within the last day or so, I have experience more lag and some crashes especially when gating or leave stations. I had a lot of problem too. Howeever, go to the thread below, "Can't log in." There were some suggestins that Have helped a lot. You may still experience crashes,but these suggestions did help. Also, sometimes, I had to shut off my firewall. Other times, it didn't matter. Strange.

I am trying to create a second account. I seem to be having two problems: First, I type on all the items required, such as username, password, email etc and keep getting the error message, "Forum user not found. " Of course it isn't found because I am registering a new account. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have even tried using my old forum name to no avail. Secondly, when I type the security words, I can't see what is being typed. It must be the same colors. How do I change colors so that I can tell what I am typing.

I completely agree with this. A red mob should attack on sight. A Yellow or other color should attack you only if you attack them first.

For a while,my extremly laggy desktop p;roblem was fixed by downloaded the latest video and sound drivers and by shutting off firewall. however, Now I normallycan't even log in unless I keep trying several times. I get past the authentication page and even the charcter page;however, once I see the wall paper showing all the sectors, the computer hangs and eventually logs out. For some reason, it stops sending packets. I have tried compatibility mode, to no avail. I am using win 7, 64 bit. I have a high end Alienware graphics card, although i didn't get the killer card. I ALWAYS run as administrator. What's even more wierd is that if I try a few times, it sometimes does connect with little issues. Also, I have noticed a great deal of packet losses as a result of the last few days. Don't know what changes you made to the client,but it has had a really negative effect.

We have a problem, NASA. Players are killing mission mobs given through job terminals. I am not sure what can be done. Perhaps the players,whose mission relates to the mob, should get the credit,but this will encourage power leveling. Perhaps, any mob not attacked by the mission player will triple its CL level. Perhaps players who kill mission mobs get their quality wiped to 10%. However, it is a problem, and I don't have a real solution.

Jerod, it can be done on some holdays and can be limited to 1-2 points. This won't imbalance anything In addition, it will reduce the number of accounts and characters in the server. This will reduce server load and make everything more stable.

Yes, special event missions for things like Christmas, New Years day, Holloween etc. would be great times for skill point missions.

I don't know if this is possible or even suggested before, but I would love to see missions that can give additional skill points without having to level. Would this be possible?

Alkemmi, certainly there is some truth in what you say. However, I have found that there is a particularly large amount of soloing in this game especially at the lower levels ( pre 20). To not fix this is to shaft a large number of players. Moreover, having items up to level 4 drop on item/level appropriate mobs won't hurt anyone and only help those who are builders.

Thank you developer for your response. I really suggest that you pass on item 8, lower mob levels for drops, to the development team. When the server goes live, there won't be any high level players. There won't be player made stuff for quite a while. Even worse, some folks will level much faster than others, especially the casual player. Thus, at first, a few players will have a monopoly,which is never a good thing. I strongly suggest that much lower mob levels be used for for level appropriate drops. As for knowing which guildies are online. using a command would be very nice.
