Keep in mind the Rotation ala Big 3 does not preclude people from a non Big 3 guild from forming up and running a raid (during the Big 3 rotation) according to the EMU Staff last I checked it was merely an agreement between the Big 3 to keep things civil.  Time and time again have I seen this topic come up and I watch in game, and see the public doing raids and not doing them as well due to being able to form groups.  Reading this post it appears as though there is another BIGGER guild apparently based on someone seeing a guild tag more than others?  Nothing is prohibiting them or anyone else from doing a Raid in game, other than the gentlemen/woman's agreement that people have followed.

     

    But to be honest, I barely see people chiming in for a GR or FB raid anymore let alone the timered raids ala GoBB/Troller/RD Base etc.  And that is over the past 2+ weeks, I've been sitting on triggers for both and at random times looking for people in guild and outside guild to go.  Needless to say, still have the triggers.

     

    On a personal note, keep it as is, since it appears to work.  PRS was a nice addition but again when they were being done more frequently awhile ago (I havent seen or made it to any in recent months so might just be a timing issue on my part) it was majority Big 3 showing and doing them anyhow.

    Well its 12/13 almost a month from this, any chance of pushing this fix?  Would like to get some items that only drop from certain pop rock mobs printed :)

  3. I kinda feel the storyline has already been broken anyways with GoBB, FB, DT, Agrippa, kinda mixing things up. Missing Ardus (Aquitaine), V'Rix'd Roc, the Bogeril content (Zeke and Zack missions/Raid) its not gonna be exact anymore.

    DEVs are working on stuff for sure but we kinda need to ascend and revamp the story at some point. Frankly Dark Matter and most Vrix gear is inferior to what we have now due to the above. The logical progression of Raid gear might need to be investigated and addressed, its also not a simple tasking either due to limitations for sure.

    But hey I still would like to go shoot em and blow stuff up! Still waiting to relive Zekes Infernal Machine Raid in Witberg!
  4. Trying to figure out if my home IP is being blocked/rejected to the forums. I can access from my phone fine but theinute I connect to my ISP I get 403 Forbidden when accessing forum.enb-emulator.com

    This only happens to forum I get on net-7 and the game fine so not sure what the issue is. PM me for my IP address as I don't wish to broadcast it.
  5. Agreed regular dropped items (at live and one point in EMU) moved to one time mission only mobs is a bit harsh.  Good that it drops everytime, bad that you'd have to forfeit the mission to retake and get another if you fail the print.

    (L5 Missile Launcher) Bricole Max - Apparently was dropping at some time, but the Net-7 DB says it doesn't drop (I have even slaughtered the mob a good majority of the 40+ builders who have it to confirm)

    (L5 Beam) Dagger Max

  7. Good point, I think you could do that in the original game.  Closest I have to a screenshot of doing that is this:

    Thanks Terrell, I wasn't an avid screenshot taker from live, but I know you could do the exchange in live, I didn't mention it because I assumed the answer would be "do you have proof?" lol.  Again it was just something I experienced and was looking at this thread at the same time, so I said why not ask.

  8. I got a question to ask.

     

    Trading between players in the game.  They both have the same unique item, except one is a higher % than the other.  The 2 players wish to exchange via a trade.  But they cannot because they both get the errors "Other player already has that unique item!" "You already have that unique item".

     

    Are we able in to adjust it so if they are trying to trade between each other that same item to allow it?

     

    Example

    Redd1 has L9 Deadly Grasp device 100%

    Redd 2 has  L9 Deadly Grasp device 120%

    Trade initiated to trade from Redd1 his 100% to Redd2, and Redd2 his 120% to Redd1 in same trade window

     

    Ultimately just trade it off to someone who doesn't have it and all, but just something I came across as a very very minor annoyance today and thought I'd ask the question.

  9. Did they remove the Stage I requirements to be completed before L75 HU? Because that is what typically hoses people over trying to complete Stage II (by themselves as you need Stage I builds) but you can do Stage II if someone provides those Stage I builds to you and also not doing Stage I keeps you from doing Stage III at all.

     

    As far as the backdoor stuff goes someone else will have to speak on that as that was added after and I've never had to do them so can't speak on it.

I hope it is not like the DT Steel Exchange.  1 to 2 or 1 to 4, then 10 to 1 or whatever required a multitude of annoying chat tree clicks and thus not going to bother doing it anymore (granted it was also for ammo for a L8 PL that was fun but short lived and not worth the arse pain of the turn in cycle).

     

    The exchange for the Nerve/Access card obviously is a 1-1 and only 1 chat tree and not the same as a stack of ammo so hopefully that will be considered (stack for stack).

     

    I'd vote for a simple drop modification, it is the simplistic method from a DEV/Admin and user standpoint to adjust vs creating a vendor, setting up the talk tree, creating the exchange etc etc.  Vs change drop rate from 10 to 20 (made up numbers) that can be accomplished in a few minutes or less.

Pwnboxer does more than just allow multiple instances of the game, alas I have not used it for this game, so I apologize I cannot comment on the setup for this particular game.  Search the forum there is another application that is mentioned here that will probably accomplish what you're seeking to do.

     

    Unless if running multiple instances is truly your only goal, you should be fine, if you're getting EnB is already running error lookup the thread for Net7unlocker will solve all those woes.

Could we get the Net-7.org DB updated, currently it still indicates DT Items do not drop (we all know that's is incorrect) and various other things to which I presume simply means that the website is not synced up with Live Playe Server DB information.  And someone above mentioned the Ursa 9 being removed.  It is not removed from game, but just not visible on Net-7.org DB (not sure why or reason)

  13. Gentlemen, I think you all missed the point that it was a question about just adding another flavour of ammo to the bile missile launchers. There are many other EMP flavors in other launcher style types. Arguing the PW should get EMP would not at all be the same simply because there are no projectile launchers that currently accept EMP.

     

    Nobody has said any changes were going to occur, it was asked if this kind of thing could be implemented and it was answered.

    Actually the Fury of the Tengu PL has EMP sooooo....There is that (doesn't mean every PL should now get EMP).

     

    The original design was to not allow every race access to a special damage type this was also in with debuffing as well.  For example Explosive, EMP, and Impact were the flavors unique to a race for the most part.  With the advent of Agrippa that changed but only for a single weapon adding Explosive to Progen.  Terrans and Jenquai if they attempt to use a L7/8 Flechette they too could have Impact and Explosive across the board.  But again this is all in a single weapon as to not disrupt those damage types being generally specific to said races.

     

    I do not think the Terrans just because another gun may have that flavor should get it in their end game weaponry as indicated it causes balance issues and from original stance breaks that thought process.

I must be simple minded, I wouldn't mind if we could sell from vault or build from it for that matter.  I know the talks are geared towards mishaps but how is that any different than selling from cargo?  Sure the restore/buyback last sold item would be great (as just the past 2 nights I've vendored a stack of comps I was using to craft).  Just chuckled and chalked it up to my stupid self not paying attention.  Obviously all of the above would be optimal but if we even could get one I'd still be happy.  Either way if we do or don't meh life goes on.

Or.... remove the Hull Upgrade limitation and keep the level requirement, with such a small community in this EMU I never understood even back in ST4 the lockout of a mission with a restriction like that...  If this was EA I would expect it as it would be their crooked thinking of oh they'll either make another character or buy another account which means more subscription money for us... But here... just doesn't add up.

While technically you weren't KSd since you never engaged the Desash, I think its more of a gentlemen/woman's agreement on the server if you see someone camping a spot like that (generally speaking at least from my standpoint) that you don't just wait cloaked or warp in kill boss and leave.  Perhaps they never saw you being a JD the moment they showed up? I dunno just layin all the possibilities out there.

     

    Now, granted things to alleviate that scenario again my point of view not a rule/servers opinion show up if you see someone, ask if they are just farming XP or if they are after the boss too, if so find out how long?  And ask them to tell you when they leave.  Would be a friendly approach, to include notifying of your presence at the nav too just in case some people are lying cloaked waiting for boss.

     

    In the end I am not 100% on EMU policy but in live standpoint was merely 51% damage to mob, didn't matter there wasn't much in the way of KS since every mob was open game.  Again here is smaller community and not LIVE of course so a more official standpoint I presume would come from a DEV/GM on their take.  But if I read your story correctly you never even engaged Desash how is it a KS then (again insert all the other components to the picture).  Merely camping a spawn doesn't entitle you to the nav/mob/kill though again see friendly agreement common in community while that is typical, it doesn't guarantee or afford you any rights.

     

    I don't leave things to chance if I see boss spawn I immediately switch to that target, the trash can wait, to avoid losing the kill credit or having someone come warp by and engage it.  Which is another thing if I see someone engaged with a boss I move along I don't try to win that 51% to get the kill (others do though - and that's their prerogative). 

     

    Unfortunately everyone has their own agenda and play style... that's online play for ya.

  17. These items are not buildable, You have to refine these items at the refining termanel. Most of what we will be doing for any borgrile mission will be refining. Remember these are Space Red-Necks. Some stuff you will need a componet builder to make like Roller Press. The Fine polish you speake of is made by having  L8 Fine Polish =  4 – L3 Obsidian Dust ;     6 - L7 Black Silicon -  L7 Stygian Black Sand.  <is what is needed to refine not Build.  I hope that this helps explain your question Alurra.

    To add to this, it is because the refined items are lumped in the category of "base" which covers a wide variety of things such as trash loot from mobs, components, ores, refined ores, and those refined mixture items.

     

    Perhaps a suggestion would be if possible to have the DB categorize component parts (which are flagged as craftables/buildable) get their own category.  Ores to have their own as well.  Just a suggestion as it would cut down on the query results when tryin to find say a component and having to sift through that entire roster of items mentioned above.  I as DB admin I would think it shouldn't be that difficult to do, but in terms of how the game requires the tablespace to be categorized it might not be feasible.  But worth a shot at asking.

     

    As far as refined items showing as buildable by x person obviously since it is not a mapped print instead just a matter of if you have the correct items, I don't think that would be as easy to track, and if you think about it as I said as long as your prospect skill level is correct, and you have the correct items in your cargo anyone can refine it.

    Thx Spartan for the info wasn't sure what the current cycle for him these days was.  Still say the DEVs should revisit the Warder, even if its just turning it into a better event (waves of mobs etc) something to spice it up ya know, 2 secs livespan, man even roller coasters at least last a minute or two for the hours wait lol.  Like I suggested just some other ideas to improve it be nice, if not no skin off my back.
