systinara
I recently acquired a new laptop that has both Intel Integrated HD graphics and nVidia GT 640M graphics (that wonderful hybrid video technology). However, when I launch CONFIG after installation, it only sees the Intel graphics, not the nVidia. Does anyone know a way to get CONFIG to recognize the nVidia card? Rezwalker
My guess would be to go in bios and make nvidia primary and/or disable intel...
Lanzo
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Westwood Studios\Earth and Beyond\Render "RenderDeviceWidth"=dword:00000500 "RenderDeviceHeight"=dword:000002bc (those numbers are for 1280x700) that is the location (on 64-bit Windows 7) in the registry of the height/width values for E&B. You can get around the limitations of EBCONFIG by editing the registry directly. If you don't know what you are doing, google for guides, or ask a friend. It *is* entirely possible to break your computer if you change the wrong thing in the registry.
Spa[IS]
your bios is set to onboard video, at startup press del key or whatever key required and go into bios and change to the video card you want to use.
systinara
I just decided to let it be. It seems to be just fine so long as I don't use full 1080p resolution. And the BIOS on this thing sucks. Hardly any settings in it whatsoever.
