Lagmiester Posted December 5, 2011 Report Share Posted December 5, 2011 I just installed the game and launcher from scratch and as soon as the intro video has finished playing or I try to skip it the game crashes to desktop. I get a _except.txt file in the release folder and it read as follows. Tienbau Posted December 6, 2011 Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 follow the 'tech support' FAQ post, it's the first post under tech support. Make sure you run the config program first, as administrator. Make sure 'Net7Proxy' is run as administrator. Install the 'sunrise' patch posted in that same FAQ (this often cures CTD's of all kinds). (this is a bit 'voodoo' but ...) try running the game with the 'debug launch' selected. And for the biggest bit of voodoo that has worked for me and many others - run a drive repair on the drive that E&B is installed on, the one where you have to restart windows. If you work through all these points and it still doesn't work - and this is very possible, I was struggling for a while to get my main PC to run the game after a recent patch - you might have to reinstall (which to all intents and purposes I did; I had an install on a different PC I just copied over the top).
