[solved] Can't get past Net7Proxy

Recommended Posts

I have followed the install instructions and everything seems ok. The Net7Launcher updates everything ok and sees the server is online. When I click play, a command prompt showing the output of Net7Proxy comes up. Here is what it says:

Net7Proxy version 1.98

Using IP: 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1)

Attempting to connect to IP address: 87.106.15.67

Sending login.

login OK

It then waits for a little over a minute and says:

MVAS thread running

The window then closes and nothing happens. I am not sure what to do as everything seems installed ok. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. Net7 has the correct location for the client.exe and everything is set to run in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. Everything is also being run as an administrator.

I played this back in 2002 and am excited to play again. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hmm. Reboot your computer and run LaunchNet7 as an administrator (can be done by right-clicking LaunchNet7 > Run as Administrator). It appears that the launcher isn't starting the client for some reason. I would also recommend opening up the task manager to see if "client.exe" is running under the "Processes" tab, if the client still does not appear.

Sorry for the lag time in response.

I did just get the application working. I ended up deleting the Net7 folder and reinstalling the launcher. After running the launcher and downloading updates two times, the game successfully opened.

Thanks!
