SO... the client abends right after you log in? Try to select or de-select packet optimization. See if that helps. There should be two applications visible. The proxy and the EnB client. C Del[IS] Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 This is usually a graphics bug. Go to where you have EnB installed (default: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Earth & Beyond\EBCONFIG) and run the program 'E&BConfig.ese'. In that program, change the resolution to something moderate (i.e. 1024*768 / 1280*768), run the Performances Test, and close the program. Then try EnB again. If that doesn't work, try setting client.exe to a different compatibility mode (assuming you're on Vista/7). Sometimes changing compatibility modes to Windows 2000 or even Windwos 98 can help.
