So long as they were appropriately leveled the jack-a-roids were actually fun and a good break from mining. those things used to scare the hell out of me...be chillin listenin to music, mining and all of a sudden *Boom* pop-a-roid....i do miss them though, kept ya from falling asleep Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mistergreen Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 Remember not all of them had a mob, some just blew up and you took damage, some blew up and you got a buff from reactor recharge to speed. I'm not sure what everyone know about field clearing bonus. It isn't the entire field but the individual types within the field itself. Mine all the rocks, get a bonus. Mine all the radio actives, get a bonus, same for hydrocarbons, gasses and crystals. The exp is actually fine from what I am seeing on my lvl 24 Scout. Make the fields in the noob sections bigger with no or non aggro mobs. Have a few unguarded fields scattered in the empty sections of a sector which would be smaller. Then scale the mobs with the size of the field. If it can handle say 2 miners, then have it need 2 people to keep it clear. leaves the miners with the ability to either defend themselves or ideally get 2 people with bigger guns and lacking EL and they can exchange some CL for it.
