    I disagree, these fields are useful.  The biggest source of confusion right now is that players don't know this information is still in the database, if they're on an item and it says "Race: All", they will know where to look for that information on subsequent searches.  Seasoned players will figure this out over time, but the missing data will increase the learning curve for new players that are just coming to the game.
     
    Also, from a readability perspective, it's actually more efficient and quicker for the human brain to have all the fields presented.  We are very good at recognizing patterns, so if you have a box that always shows the same fields in the same order, we are much better at picking out the relevant information.  It takes the brain longer to register that a value is missing then it takes it to locate the value in a list.
     
    Personally, I would prefer to see all the fields shown(Avatars Owning Items, Avatars with Recipe, Race, Class, etc.) on the screen.  That way there's no confusion whether it's in the database or not.
     
    If you want to get real fancy, list all the items, and make them bold if the item has a restriction i.e.
    If all can use show: "Race: All"
    If Terran only show: "Race: Terran Only"

    You really just have to change your way of thinking.

    New players will be fine with this because they don't know the old way.

    So you have to think of the database like this now:
    Everything is usable by everyone and if its not it will tell you that.

    Everything can be manufactured unless it says otherwise.

    Looks good to me as well, although when in your account vault and you click an item it pops up in a new tab.
    This is good but if you click on another item in the new tab, ie: something that item can build
    It takes you out of account vault and brings you to the database tab when you may already have stuff ready to transfer and all that is lost.
    It can be very annoying when you set stuff to move already and you have to redo it.
    It used to stay on the account vault, opening as many tabs as you needed.
    This change happened not with this update but a previous update awhile back.
    Please make it stay on account vault tab again.

    Hi,
    I logged into the net-7 terminal at joves to transfer some parts to build a golden tooth.
    Everything went fine on the site but when i came back to the game the items were not there. After hinking I transfered to the wrong char. I could not find the items anywhere. Then my avatar went missing off the drop-down list on the web portal also. So I logged of the web and back on. My avatar was back on the drop down list but my parts were gone.
    So the parts I'm missing are:
    37 ce3k dielectric plate
    2 Blackbox x93
    I was able to make what I needed because I still had parts eleswhere but I'd appreciate getting my parts back.
    It must have been a fluke because I tried other stuff after that and it worked fine.

    PS. I posted this in an ingame support ticket and got this response:
    You will need to post this in tech support to get assistance since we cannot track anything through portal transfer.

    I have heard of at least 1 instance of an AA in a pop rock.
    I also have found the same mentioned AA's probably in the same field as the others,
    right after a server restart, like the others.
    Something is definitely wrong with this,
    if you can only find an AA immediately after a server restart. which they failed to mention.
    (Hoping the server crashes so you can find an AA in the same place over and over is just wrong IMHO)

    The randomness of the npc you turn them into should also be looked at.
