  1. yesterday me and my brother wanted to fight together and kill some mobs. well, thats the problem, we (overalllvl 40 and 47) went through lots of systems trying to find a good spot. after about 30mins of flying around we found some groups of zenshai in fenris, but guess what, there are like 5 ones there on a respawn timer of 5minutes. although they were above our level, it took us like 1-2mins to clear the spot which left us without anything to fight. after that we flew around another half an hour to find a better spot, which led us to odrin rex @destroyed mining facility. like 10 lvl20 mobs and 3 lvl25 mobs among them. btw its very nice not to be able to kill those lvl 20 because the lvl25 ones will kill u with one shot and aggro from about 6k. conclusion: 1. there are far too less hunting spots for low levels, flying around for hours to find a good spot with a decent respawn rate is a pain in the ass and NOT fun. 2. you can find far higher lvl mobs between low level mobs (which would be the ones to fight for your cl lvl) much too often, which makes this hunting spot useless 3. mobs hit far too hard. its easy to get away their life, but they take you out with like 1-2 shots. and killing low lvl mobs is boring, they die in like 5 seconds but still hit you very hard....
  2. window mode 1280x1008 (on a 22" 5:4 CRT), because i had problems tabbing the game. only playing window mode since eve, because the game was so boring that i had to do other stuff while playing it

  4. introduction: im talking about my girlfriend´s pc, i can access it through remote desktop because she lives far away. she just installed the game and updates etc, means it has never worked before. problem: after hitting the "play" button in the net7launcher, the CMD window pops up and aborts with "login failed - server not found", although the update of the net7launcher worked without any problems and the JPanel left to "check" shows "online". plz take a look at the picture attached hardware details: WinXP sp3 (latest updates installed -> auto update on), .net3.5, no firewall installed, windows firewall off EnB installed, EnB patched, net7launcher installed and updated till "search for updates" didnt bring up any new results. used the "reset updates" function for about 3 times now and reinstalled all available updates later, still same problem. i also re-patched the EnB files (didnt bring any message like "game already patched" or whatever) and reinstalled .net3.5 im out of options here:D( if anyone knows something i can try out, plz let me know PS: i noticed the message "error occured while checking for updates" at her net7launcher window (see attached pic), which disappears after using "check for updates". ive installed the game on 4 different pcs now and this message didnt show up on them(and the server connect works as well, but at my gf´s pc it just won´t wo:D ).
  5. thank you very much for the quick response, i really downloaded the wrong "net7" pack and was pretty confused about not finding anything to launch. everything runs fine now, the game itself runs very smooth, no lag at all (at least in the starting sectors, where ive been right now), feels very good to be back in space again after almost 6 years...
  6. i installed EnB+EnBPatch+N7 according to the "step by step" manual, and used "toolspatcher.exe" to update all files. during installation i got an error like "could not update msiexec.exe" <- file named something like that. after n7 updater i got an error like "could not open file". now i cant find any exe named "net7launcher", neither on my desktop nor at programms\Net7\bin (which doesnt even exist, i only got a \net7\tools folder). meaning i cant start the game i installed .net 3.5 + SP3 (had SP2 before) @ winXP 32bit thx for any help
