  1. In live, when any players reactor was empty, in or out of a group, that player stopped the group when in free warp, or could not enter warp if a destination was chosen. The Laz was an average delay time from all group members

I sort of remember watching my group warp away from me because I drained my reactor shooting, and one of them was receiving a hiding, their shields and reactor was going down fast so leader free warped

Then, you know, the usual Progen Warrior chant, "Chickens, get back here, theyr'e only scratching your paint (Damn Terrans)"

  2. Thought I would put my comment here as it's not the update, I added another HDD to my computer, now have 2 1TB and a 186G, and seeing as I'm using 64 bit Windows 7

I put a version of Win 7 32 bit on the small HDD and just put EnB on it, thats all nothing else and boot from it

EnB works fine now, no more log in problems, updated fine, and runs well, thinking as EnB is an old game, some of my bloatware I use must conflict with EnB, and 64 bit is not that compatible, so I will be using my 32 bit version to play EnB

    hope this info helps

  3. News Flash

Unconfirmed sources are reporting the Myans are sueing God for changing their calender dates

and also sueing Mother Nature for the weather and Murphy's law for the bad luck for loosing their next tablet with mentions 2 asteroids, 1 north south and one south north

Stay tuned for more 'Truth Exposed' by 'Area 51'

If you believe this, stop the world, I want to get off

  4. Going to run one now and then one at 4pm then 5pm then 6pm my time tomorrow when the most problems are for me

Do you want this run while sitting in a docking bay or a sector or out of game?

running first test now 9:08pm my time out of game

  5. I still get ctd at around 3:30 pm till 6pm (gmt +9.5) gating or in terminals . Very common to get terminal freeze and/or loading screen freeze.

worse place for me is Earth Station, in job terminal, drops to desktop very regulary followed secondly by loading screen freeze

when in a terminal,I can tell when I'm about to be booted when clicking on a explore job it freezes and takes about 1 to 2 minutes to display where the job is going, or ctd instantly

9 times out of 10 when in loading screen I know its frozen as the red circle around destination is not present, but now and then the red circle is present but I'm frozen,

weird thing tho when first logging on, after selecting avatar, sometimes the loading screen has no red circle but I load into sector/station after a longer than normal delay,

about 1 minute before I am in sector/docking bay

  6. Maybe the Mayan calculations had a degree of accuracy of .005% (which if you do the math from 700BC till today, it works out to about that).

So could this meteroid, instead of wiping us all out, be a true apocalyptic event (as in be the beginning of a new age for man)?

You really need to do research before quoting rubbish. The mayan Calander was just that, a calander, nowhere on the clay tablet was any mention of an apocalyptic event

In fact if you care to research the calander instead of copy/pasting, you will find where it finished was the end of winter solstice, which means the start of new growth/life not death

  7. With a max level JS, or even a JS that's more that 4 levels above the toon being JS'd it should never fail.  I can understand a fail if the toon is level 50 CL and the player's JS is only level 4 but failing when you have max JS and the toon is CL 0 (OL 20) is just stupid.

This is a key skill for explorers and I can say it doesn't seem to be tied in player level or skill level at all.  Is it just a random 'player has a 30% chance of succeeding' skill?

IIRC this skill was based on the player's JS skill vs the OVERALL level of the player that was incapped.

The reason for this was to increase failure chances of say L1 Jumpstart on larger hulls with huge reactors/cores.

Think of it as trying to JS your car with an iPod. As for failure, maybe you hooked the cables up wrong and shorted out the battery? Nothing is 100% guaranteed.

<evil dev grin> Oooo, there's an idea, maybe a critical failure chance could be added to incap you as well?  </evil dev grin>

As a reader will see the question was not answered it was reversed somehow, what is being asked is a JSer with full JS should not fail JSing a lower lvl player, but this is happening

  8. Soulcleaver!! Haven't seen you in ages

I also do not multi box, i have now and then, but usually close one soon after playing, just good for helping move around the sectors or items when I forget about transfering

(heh I'm old I'm allowed to have 'senior moments)

So yea, once I level up some, I'll be looking for groups
