Thanks Jerod. Just so I'm clear, to change the color for new player channel to say red, like yours, i would type without the quotes "/setcolor New Channel 0 1 1" ? Will that set it permanently or does this have to be done each time in game?

I have difficulty seeing the blue color in chat. The green color, when people log in and out is ok. Is there a way to change the chat color to green? Thanks R

ok. This is embarrassing. I used to play E&B and was over lvl 100 JE. Had all the neat toys. Just started again and I can't even finish the newbie sector.... Does anyone know where the tempest fringe is and how to get there? roflmao
