I had the same issue with the CTD after entering my PW.   I Checked run as admin and compatibility options and cleared the output folder.   This did not solve the problem...   I found this post and deleted the global.th6 file and it loaded fine.   I have this probem with my laptop running vista often.   You may want to add this to your support docs and a fix for this issue.   Thanks for your hard work and I am enjoying flying the friendly skys again   Mell
