    Seriously dude ?  These " people" don't owe you didly-squat. How much are you paying to play this game ? Huh ?  How much have you donated this past year ? 

    You know what's "unacceptable"  ?    You and your attitude. 

    Leave the game , these "people" won't mind a bit. Me included.

  3. ok, THANX so MUCH , don't know what you wonderful DEV's or GM's have done, but I have just completed testing with the failing account on 2 pc's and no longer have issues.

    at least 30 minutes straight, no hangs/restarts needed. Gated at least 5 times , build term, job term, start different toons on same account -ALL GOOD...

    I did NOT change anything on my end.

    Perhaps Spectrum servers where not updated in a timely fashion,, dunno , hard to tell .

    But again THANX  for all your work now , and in the past 5 years,....

  4. Same issue for me as well. I have one account with my warrior toons, these toons/account fail on 2 pc's both running Win 7

    My 2 other accounts do NOT have the issue on the same pc's.

    affected toons:  Lunaticfringe, Spasmodialprime, Lunaticspy, Lunaticagogo

  5. Magoo, I understand your plight, do you understand ours ? Sunday free for all day has left us w/o spawn as well on Monday nights. There were times when we went WEEKS (Mondays) w/o a spawn. Sometimes due to server restarts, but mostly
    due to the timing of the Sunday GoBB raid. Then there is the whole ordeal with the JD's (not me) that were leveled up w/o guild tags JUST to kill GoBB on ANY day they chose. Pretty sure that was felt by all guilds raiding.
    In my opinion, asking all the other guilds to make a change so your guild can do the GoBB raid, should be the last option presented. Perhaps one other guild could work in your spot, and yours in theirs ? IF that has already been offered and declined, then proceed to get an agreement for a complete rearrange from all guilds. If our day changes it may leave us w/o enough players to do the raids, for me that is not acceptable.

    The feed back and crash dump info must be very helpful for assessing the stress level of the 'server'

    Much more stress can/will be applied when more content is added, like jobs and various missions from npc's

    AND double or triple the number of players. WE need more players , I think ..

    There are dozens reasons why this is working. Probably a majority of those reasons I don't even know about or understand.

    I would really like to see a [DEV](s) view on the question.

    Main = JD LunaticFringe , secondary = JE Lunatictaxi , thirdinary = JS Lunatictictic

    for added battle enjoyment = TE Spasmodialprime , then probably a PP , PS

    have not tried ANY Progen toons since live so, we'll see.

    anyways , uh ,, oh yea ......I'M BATMAN........

  8. Original Problem still exsists, as stated in 1st post

    Still same problem with last 2 updates, v238 and v245 (Launcher v1.9.1)

    I have to over-write the files with the files from Marco's site( or link ) to get the game to run. This is a true bummer when I CTD and then get an update, then I have to re-over-write the files again to play the game.

    Any Help / Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Thank you Paragon & Tunksfera for all the info you provided. :D

    However, after de-installing Net7 and re-installing, still have same problem.

    I used the Filesavr link first that Paragon suggested,, then the RapidShare link that Tunksfera

    suggested, tried deinstalling each time, but after first deinstall the Net7launcher does not show up in 'Add or Remove Program".

    I signed up for GamesSpace, but only find the eandb_demo.exe file. No others. I really don't want to

    reinstall the whole game, I don't think the problem is related to the game itself.

    When I go to c:\net7\bin and execute the net7proxy.exe file, I get the same failure as described in my first post.

    I can only hope that when Tunksfera completes this --->> Earth And Beyond Client Download ( I am working on downloading it myself and uploading it to a decent file server) ...Will Update When finished....

    .. I will be able to get another set of files to try, otherwise ... I'm still totally dead in the water. :(

  10. Have you tried resetting your updates? To do so start the Net7 Launcher -> click on the menu named Launcher -> click on the option "reset updates"

    What does that do you ask? It tells the launcher to forget what it thinks your client & Net7 launcher version is. Then through the normal update process it will check that each file is the same version as the patch server says it should be.

    If that doesn't work, I'd like some clarification on when the error is occurring. I'm assuming from what you said that the Net7proxy prints <date> Starting E&B ... and then you get the error. Am I correct? If that is the case, try starting the earth and beyond client manually. To do so open my computer -> navigate to your install directory -> open the "release" directory -> double click on "client.exe". Does that start correctly? I mean you should see the enb client EULA screen but when you click "I agree" button it should return an error after some time.

    NO to: Net7proxy prints <date> Starting E&B ... and then you get the error.

    Net7Proxy does not have ANYthing in it's window. The error box/window (rectangular) pops up on top of the Net7Proxy box/window.

    When I started the "client.exe" from c:/programfiles/ EA games /release/ ... game started after the EULA , got to Megan, entered password, character selection screen has all 3 toons , I select Lunaticfringe , and it goes to the big map of the universe and hangs, same with 2nd and 3rd toons.......

    So if I got it right, by using the client.exe ,the Launcher, which calls Net7Proxy.exe is not used. And as the Launcher seems to be working correctly, because updates still get through, that would point to a bad Net7Proxy file(s). The executable maybe or the .DLL files ? Those files showed modified date as 12/16 which is the day the problem started after that update.
