I think it if were possible for Knix's idea to be used it should. Then you don't have to tailor every mission, just put in a script (if possible) that pulls the first failed check and displays the default answer, such as:
"You are too inexerienced"
I can't help (race)
I don't help (class)
You are too experienced
You lack (item/skill whatever) -
DEV toons - i just made myself level 150 :P
PLAY toons - mostly missions and some jobs thrown in. On my miner (which is still not 150 but is my closest one thus far) i did it all pretty much mining glenn gas once I was 70 or so and could pull level 8 ores.
Man, I'd tear my hair out if all I did was mine gas in glenn from 70 -140 ish. I've gotta change it up :)

Allright, closing this topic. It is a news thread, and really such discussions about weather it is good or not or how to handle raids should be discussed in appropriate areas. I'll make topics and split posts out.

Ah, yes I think I was confusing them with the gold tokens. It seems like the more important issue here is that you apparently don't get notified when you get them.

Now would be a good time for players to come forward and say what they want from the Advocate, which issues to discuss and so on. :)

Just a few days ago I heard a friend of my recommend that book also. Might have to hunt it down.

I like this idea, but would probably have to be tied to the player level vs mob level, so they don't go 'rescuing' tiny mobs.

One reason they are sellable is so you can sell them to another player if you are not interested in doing the content.

The problem is that it would have to be a new item, or else remove all the existing items of that type before removing the restrictions. Otherwise, the toons that currently have the item will be able to build it, or sell/trade it to a player who could then build it.
That of course is not getting into game balance, because restrictions are usually on the items to keep the classes & races balanced. If an item were made balanced and then restricted just for the sole reason of having a small period where the restrictions were lifted, I don't know. That does seem like a lot of work, and more likely to be a special event thing if done rather than weekly or monthly.

Currently the only thing I have seen speaks of consecutive terms, so technically Uban could run for the next election, just not the one after that if he were elected for the next one.

As Zackman mentioned, this thread has already been resolved. Any incorrect leaders must be worked out as mentioned above or via internal guild politics.

How about making some suggestions? Saying it isn't fun & has balance & content issues really does not help.

If you are experiencing problems, don't forget to contribute your data here using something like winMTR. If it is 1&1 we can't get anything done without logs.
