    Static is not alone in this. Leave triggers alone that are not yours to take.  If we or VGE want to leave our trigger up all week its ours to do so and your opinion makes NO difference. Static, VGE and yes even BI earned its spot but that does in no way give anyone the right to threaten over spawns. Its never going to be on the table!!!!

     

    I would how ever like to clear something up to those that think I am being a bit hard in our stance on this subject. We have guildies that can only play at certain times/certian days so we try sometimes to hold triggers for them (when we can) so they get a chance at some rare loot or just the experience of the raid. Also as Prre said in a earlier post its about playing with your buddies If we did not do this these players only have the PRS as an option. Now there is nothing wrong with the PRS but if they can not be around for the times its open then I guess our members are just out of luck? Dont think so. We will continue to hold triggers when we see fit. If our triggers are taken yours WILL be taken in turn!

     

    As for Alurra. She posted this as an Admiral of Static not as ADV. There is a difference. Even the DEV's have play toons. Enough said deal with it.

    This can easly be fixed and then we can all move on. Step 1. BI and EG apologize. 2. BI stands down for 1 GOBB and Static takes it on BI's week (as per the agreement BI gave its word on).

     

    We would not expect it from public's week as we do not wish to see other guilds that was not involved lose any raids for the actions of BI and EG.

    Greed pure simple greed. The rotation set aside equal time for all on each raid but some decide thats not enough and wanted more. If drama follows even better for them. A meeting took place in which members of BI (Magoo and Jamoos) gave its word that they would not break this rotation yet Sunday they formed a raid group and took a spawn that was not theirs to take. As for EG what the heck are you guys thinking? I talked to members of EG's leadership not that long ago and they assured me they wanted no part in drama yet here we are.

     

    Static will not be bullied by a few who think they are entitled to set policy for the entire server. True colors have come out now lets see how long it takes for others to see them.

    How about a instant shield transfer skill. Instantly transfer a percentage of the shields of the TS to another target. Put it on a timer so its not over powered. Drains the TS completely of shields.

    There has been more than one DT spawn trigger killed in error in the last few weeks.

     

    The root causes are likely that the trigger is not instantly recognisable or that some of us don't look very closely before shooting.

     

    A few solutions such as moving the trigger up or down 20K on the  Z axis could be a way to reduce accidental spawning.

     

    Personally I think Raidermans suggestion of changing the markers on the trigger mobs from red to another colour would be sufficient and hopefully easiest to implement.

     

    None of us wish to add work to the Dev workload.

     

    Of course anyone with suggestions please feel free to add them here.

    Alurra was asked to post this info as a player not the ADV. The info was discussed during the meeting and all she did was write it up and post it for all. Most of the time was spent talking over how to make sure the public was treated fairly. The public gets everything the 3 guilds do. I mean what else can you guys want? There has been other attempts to get the public to elect a rep for themselves but was not done and now you are complaining cause there was no rep for the public there.

    I really cannot see why we are having this conversation , with 'Public' week and BL new raid sector isn't there enough raids to go round without trying to rock the 'rotation' boat ? It seems like a bit of greed is seeping in as far as i can see . If any of the BIG 3 fail at some point to take their triggers who's loss is that ? ITS THEIRS . They have to wait weeks for the rotation to come back around . The community has been getting along just fine lately and i for one would like to keep it that way :)

    But but I want my cookies and yours too!!!! Kids these days huh prre?

     

    We all know who is behind all this. He takes delight in spreading his lies to stir up drama. I wonder if he knows just how many people laugh at him all the time.

    A word to the wise wireclub, I would think twice about calling Prre a liar. He has a great reputation on this server and to my knowledge has never mislead anyone in all the years I have known him. Just so you know I am not in VGE in fact I am an admiral of Static and everyone speaks highly of him in our guild. If you wish to challenge his honesty I would suggest you bring a mountain of proof or keep your mouth shut.

    Well at least you finally admitted to double dipping. Magoo you know just like every one else around here that per our agreement you or any in BI was NEVER to roll on loot in pug raids period!!!! Also you or anyone in BI was to never organize and run pug raids period. We agreed to support and give advice when needed ONLY! So you want to know what your doing wrong well there ya go. You do this every time and agreement is made between the 3. The rules only apply as long as it fits BI's agenda if not you just feel its ok to do as you wish. I do NOT hold all of BI accountable for this cause I know it was only a few leading the way. The fact is you broke your word to the entire server and now you want to justify your actions.

    The fact is BI should have never organized any pug raid. The agreement was that public would organize its own raid and if help was needed ask for it from ALL 3 guilds but BI seemed only interested in padding small guilds with alts and rolling on loot that was not open to them in the first place. After people finally see this and react to it we find ourselves here listening to another rant of poor me BI. As for the BL spawned mobs thats different ball game completely. Can not speak for VGE but Static was asked less then a handful of times to help. In fact I think it was only twice since the agreement was made. Still if anyone was keeping track BI was at EVERY pug raid.

     

    Try to spin this anyway you want but everything I said is true and people can go back a reread the old posts about this very thing. I am proud of the pugs finally standing up for yourselves and I say bravo to them!!!

     

     

    BTW who is the leader of BI now? I thought it was raiderman. If so why is magoo making policy for BI? Just saying!

    Adding new content is what most of us want to see. I just wonder how the Dev's will handle opening a new sector. For example if they opened Roc today everyone that plays still will try to get in that 1 sector. Once the word gets out to people that have not played in a while server pop will spike and those returning ones will also be in that one sector. My point is that will cause a whole new bag of troubles for the EMU. I hope not but I would guess that many toons in one sector will cause the server to crash every 5 minutes. There are several ways to slow people down like device entry but those things will not be enough. After a few hours or a day at most the new sector will be crashing the server.

     

    Maybe opening more then 1 sector at a time will help spread people out.

    I see more post here against PVP then I see for it but you just keep pushing the issue. Sorry but I know that most of the people that still play each day hope to log on and see a CONTENT patch not a patch for PVP. To answer your question honestly I probably would not enter the PVP sector ever. Just never been a person that likes that kind of stuff. Besides 30k xp for a 150 means what? Nothing! You can get that much xp in 15 minutes hunting/farming. Listening to a 12 year old with zits or a 50 year old in his stained underwear proclaiming how much of a PVP god he/she is would break anyone's sanity. Please dont start cause I already heard the ideas on how to stop the "I am  god" chanting and lets be honest with ourselves here. We all know it will happen everyday in EVERY channel. Even if the dev's put harsh punishments on doing it there will be some that will think the rules do not apply to them and do it anyways.

    Regardless whether its a real MT or intentional the damage is done and this person got his self inflamed ego stroked at everyone's expense that has market on. This will drive more people away from a small player base then its worth right now.

     

    Again I ASK please keep discussing the issue but do not impose on the dev's time for it right now. You are just setting up for another disappointment like the the idea for auctioned raid loot. I am not saying PVP should never be in this EMU all I am saying is that it should only be discussed until later after more content, raids, mobs and sectors are in game. Then the server population will be much better (I hope) and more that will enjoy your ideas.

     

    Not sure why you was so amused by my idea for a vote. The only reason I can think of is you know if there was a vote on PVP of any kind it would be defeated and you took what I proposed personally in which case realize it was not my intention. As for cheating on voting polls the dev's can check for those kinds of things unless you know something we dont and if so do tell.

     

    I just think the majority should come first instead of the minority.

    If this is just a "what if" discussion then all good but if the DEV's are actually using the time they put into this game for this idea I must say what a waste. I am truly not here to rip the dev's in anyway but we have waited so long on game content to see them working on something only a handful of people want would be very disappointing.

     

    Put up a vote and see if the people would rather have more end game content or PVP. or New sectors vs PVP, V'rix vs PVP, or even finish the storyline vs PVP. I doubt PVP will get many votes against any of the list.

     

    Kyp promised no more wipes so that subject should not even be mentioned. Pretty sure that would be a EMU killer if that happened to give a small minority PVP. Please put any work on PVP on the back burner until other things are done. I do like some of the ideas of this discussion.

    Trust is earned not just given away. For anyone to say otherwise is being naive. Do you really think Static is the only guild watching these raids? Really? We have made a point to make sure the public is aware of whats going on with the raids. If you want to call that babysitting say what you will. Did anyone really think people would just open a pug raid spot and not watch? LOL BTW 1 or 2 cloaked toons is NOT going to cause anymore lag then the raid will anyways again LOL to that.

     

    Daath you also got a couple of things wrong and I hope its cause your not aware of it. First off Static was more then willing to get EG in the rotation but due to alts being in their guild and backstabbing from people so EG needs to look elsewhere for the reason they didnt get a spot. I would LOVE to see EG make up all of the raid as long as its done fair. I got some news for you there are people in EG that agree with me on this.

     

    Simple truth is that NO one from the big 3 should be at these public raids unless there is no other choice.

    the last public raid i have seen was at Troller raid. and yea im from BI and i had my Healer there because they needed one. but as Epic gamers in not one of the big 3 and if they fill up almost a full raid wit just Epic gamers its still an public raid. And we from BI have agreed with magoo if we help them out we can not roll on any items and the times i was there to help out i have never seen that a BI person gets loot. I people from VGE and Static wont belive that just sent out one person of your guild and join the raid so you can control it

     

     

     

     

    Nice try. I was watching this raid and you left out a few details. First it was not just your JS (mayond) there but also your PW. Second the people there was so nervous too get the raid started they killed the activator before the second group arrived which was made mostly of BI members. 

     

    So by this standard if EG sends around 4 members (duel boxing thats around 8 toons)  to a raid and BI fills in enough to finish out 2 or more groups thats considered PUBLIC? LOL Really? How many of those EG members there were actually BI alts?

     

    Third there was NO effort to enlist members from other guilds, NONE! By your own words no member of VGE or Static takes part in the raid itself and I wonder why? So other guilds besides the big3 can have a spot in the raid. This is not a raid opportunity for BI to gain a second raid week in the rotation. Its for members of smaller guilds and non-guilded people to get  a chance to see the end game content and even a shot at some rare loot. 

     

    I will not mention his name but 1 member of EG did try to find out what happened and gained some respect for doing so. As to BI not rolling on loot during this single raid I really have no idea if they did or not. I have screenshot of past raids to which BI members did roll and even won items and they clearly knew it was against the agreement. Some just feel the rules do not apply to them.

     

    I challenge whoever takes the mantle up on leading these PUBLIC raids to do the right thing. Make sure it is well announced that you are forming one and OPEN invite to anyone not in the big 3. I realize there will be times when public interest will not just be enough to do the raid so I purpose this. Postpone the raid for a couple of hours and keep advertising it. If all else fails ask ALL 3 to send help. If the public does not show enough interest then its on them not the raid leader but they must given the chance.
