I got an error message when I tried to update the launcher today. "Update Failed. Downloaded file is invalid. Hash of downloaded file and hash in server manifest does not match. File: C:\program files (x86)\net-7\bin\LaunchNet7.exe.tmp" Then when I click ok i get the usual update available sign. New version 386. Now the launcher won't start at all. is it a faulty patch? Help please

I too got this problem alot. Job terminal freezing randomly but today I had to exit to caharacter screen about 7 or 8 times between 24 jobs. Kinda tiresome.
-
Well it worked that one time tho Still struggling alot with this.

Well, I found it out myself. I had linked up my laptop and my desktop PC with a switch on a LAN without internet (Both my desktop and laptop connects to internet through wireless). So when I disabled the LAN, it works again. Weird

Anyone else got this problem? I'm desperate to play some EnB again

Hover the mouse cursor over the game window on the taskbar, right click and select move.

That worked like a charm. Thanks alot mate. Never occurred to me that the logged in chars would prevent me from adding a new client to the list.

Im getting this error when I'm trying to make a full group for some trade runs. I have run 6 toons on one computer before, but now its giving me a headache with this error message. Are there a way to fix this? thx in advance.

Hi. First off, sorry if I'm posting this on a wrong forum, but thought this would be a funny picture.

Yeah, I'm in this beautiful game right now
-
Yes, I got in. The Net-7 installer I downloaded from Net-7.org was faulty. I had to download Shaddex' Net-7.zip file, in order to make it work
-
That is exactly what I did, but I still ended up with a Net-7 folder inside Earth&Beyond folder Will Try reinstall and see if it happens again. No, comp is not overclocked
-
Looking at the Update screen shots, your update is looking at That is not a location I know. Looks like its a Mix of the GAME and the LAUNCHER ? GAME = c:\program files(x86)\EA GAMES\earth & beyond Launcher = c:\program files(x86)\Net-7\
So I should separate E&B from Net-7? will that have any effect?
-
Does not work, The launcher just creates another launchNet7.exe.tmp
-
I editted them while you were reading them, they should be easier to read now.

Well, Here I go. Cleaned comp for any leftovers. Agh!. I've tried everything now, I even regeditted all net-7 leftovers from last attempts but still no luck. can't get past that silly hash error. Maybe I just not supposed to play this game ever again.
-
Same error yet again. I used E&Bconfig, as I could not find a Net7config file. is that incorrect?
-
Ok, Will try re-downloading and Re-installing the game
-
Well it says I should register at Net-7 at a point, but I allready did in beta, do I need to do it again for Live? Also, Should I also download and install EnB Client patch set as pt 2? or just skip?
-
I've tried to reinstall the game and net-7 about 50-60 times now with updates and everything. I have installed in the order posted on antother post, I have tried installing in different order, but to no avail. All I get in the end is that Hash error, where I've also tried deleting the file mentioned in the error message. But alas. I got a i7 3.4 gHz, 8 GB ram, Geforce GTX 570, Win7 64Bit, And got the .net 4.0 installed. I get as mentioned this hash error message where I have the opportunity to select try again, skip and cancel. If I press cancel the patching process ends. If I press skip, it "finishes" the patching, and I will get a new error message where it says that the program is not for 64bit OS. Help plz? Getting desperate here.
-
I'm having that Hash error myself atm. And no change after deleting that file, any other suggestion? And If I skip the update, I get the Unsupported 16-bit error, I got 64bit Win7.
