    I would like to answer for myself only and not BI since Raiderman is the leader of the guild currently and unless that changes this is only my opinion.

     

    First Jamoos does not represent the will of BI, he is a member as am I.

     

    I had nothing to do with the raid other then offer advice, and advice is free last I cheched. You gets whats youz payz for.

     

    Second I hope Raider takes it upon himself to answer, I am working now and I am not around much anymore except in the mornings and later afternoon times.

     

    So I hope the retarded rumormongers piss up a rope.

     

    Third since the population is getting summertime low again I propose and i have always proposed we take a 24 hour approach on the triggers.

     

    If your guild can't do a raid trigger within 24 hours of it spawning the public and other guilds should be allowed to knock it off.

     

    This waiting for a week to waste spawns is retarded on a large scale and needs to be remedied.

     

    This is what I propose to the guild leaders, you guys know i'm not real tolerant of bullscraps and i do not suffer fools at all and i think this situation is bullscraps and foolish.

     

    Let's modify what we have till fall when the population starts growing again and encourage the new players to the game to raid by allowing the public to take down the raids if the rotation guild can't.

     

    It's not rocket science and it wont hurt anyones feelings this way, and seriously if you get bent over a simple proposal and your guild wastes triggers like bullets at a NRA convention then you need to get bent yourself.

     

    Do the damned raids ask for help or get out of the way.

     

    That is my proposal, IT"S ALWAYS BEEN MINE. So lets work this out or I'm gonna give my blessing to knocking off 24 hour wasted triggers.

     

    And I'll be happy to help.

     

    So let's work this out or it might be BI raids and everyone else watches, i kinda miss those days.

     

    But this is just one persons opinion. And should only be taken seriously if you think there is a problem and the triggers are being wasted.

     

    I think there is a problem. And the advocate has no business speaking up for their guild, and should not have brought this up.

     

    You are to remain impartial to the dev's and playerbases doings.

     

    Accusing a guild of something is a guild related issue and has nothing to do with your position of power.

     

    Or I can comment about certain members of static now being dev's and co leaders of the guild.

     

    And I do believe I have the right to complain about it if I so chose, you made your bed. Don't try to unmake it.

     

    Some of you remember I am a rather intrackable enemy to have, and I doubt either the dev's or the playerbase wants a redo of the 2 years I suffered.

     

    So next time have a non advocate/dev person post this, there is a co-leadership in static the last I checked. Have someone else speak up for your guild.

     

    Just a personal thought. Good luck on sorting out the rotation mess, I like simple things Whats the old saying. KISS "Keep It Simple Stupid" applies here.

     

    Stop wasting triggers and gives the pubbies a 24 hour window to wait and let them knock the raid down. This is pretty damned simple.

     We have been friends a long time.   You have always treated me well and been kind.  I am not angry with you but disapointed.  I have defended you to many over the past few years  (in spite of taking a LOT of flak for it).  I so wish you could see this for what it is.  Knowing you as I do I don't see that happening.  If I could convince you to talk w me as we used to MAYBE we can fix this.  Remember  we worked out 2 deals on raid rotations.  As far as giving up any rotation spawns.........the way its set up........that is whomever's spawn to do with (or NOT do with as they please) so giving it up cause we don't wanna do it "today" will NEVER be on the table.  PLEASE talk with me about this.

    I uploaded our guild decal on the portal a few days ago and yet to hear anything. Is there somthing else I need to do? (Standing on one leg while faceing east and
    wearin an orthopedic hat hasn't seemed to help).......:)

    I was foolish enough to think some would actually understand what I was/am trying to say here. I am not, nor have I ever asked nor professed to want a raid to be geared to a single player running 2-3 toons. The guild I choose to be in has roughly 10-15 players capable of executing a raid......ie dps/healing. I have no issue whatsoever with joining forces with other guilds (which I have attempted to do on several occasions) with limited success HOWEVER........living literally all over the world its difficult to have more than 5-6 of my guild mates on at a time for a raid and being the soft hearted fool (I apparently) am, I believe they should all get a shot at it. If any of us wanted to be in a larger guild I'm sure they/we would be. I'm sorry you seem to feel it necessary to make acusations and assumptions about me and the guild I'm in. Insulting and disrespecting me serves little if any purpose that I can see (Reon). I have been on this EMU over 4 years now and this is the first time I've spoke out. Usually people of your charactor simply leave the game eventually.....sooner than later usually. In that my comments here will likely get me banned, I'd like to point out those who seem to be the most disagreeable when presented with logic that they can't understand.....never seem to have "Donator" under their name. I have always chosen my battles in the past....I DO know I lost this one before I ever started. So those of you who have "won" enjoy your hollow victory in good health.

    I happened to be on when Kenu announced the Mordona would be 33% "meaner" very soon. Thats all just dandy BUT it really screws the smaller guilds that can only come up with one good raiding group. I have no solution in that the "Big Three" are all excited about it. All that is really left for us little guys is the FB. I'm not so stupid as to believe for one second it won't be next. There are those who would have us believe the "Big Three" would happly have any of us join them on raids. Torocaca!! I've been on the emu over 4 years so have made a number of friends (which I've likely lost here) who have had me join raids with them. I also realize there are those who could care less about raids. Logic dictates there will be any number of replys to this thread defending this action with any number of reasons why it will work. I remember in live......the ONLY ones who got to do raids where the big guilds....................ok, I've rambled/rattled enough

    I believe this is a great idea and hope it can be pulled off. I spend 12 hrs or more in game daily and am usually listening to an online radio. Assuming it can be done, I'd be willing to put some time into it if I can be of any help.......I'm easy to find......:)

    With all my time on EMU (4 yrs +), I have never ever heard the name Teflon. He may well go under a different name game that I AM familiar with. *shrugs* I have the utmost respect for those who have nominated him BUT, without Prre in the race I will again, not bother to vote.....I know Prre would make a great advocate and without him in the race I simply have no one that I know to vote for. (not that anyone cares)

    I do so hope we're not down long. I for one am just greatful it's not going down 2-3 times a week as it was in ST 2 and 3. In spite of what are seen as shortcomings with the game, considering this is all done strictly with volunteers the improvements made and being made are remarkable imo.

    In my continueing efforts to regain a grasp on game play, I will recap what I have done thus far to restablish game play and hopefuly its being a bit more concise will encourage a meaningful response i.e. HEEEELP! (sry, after 25 hrs plus peterin' with it i'm becoming a bit more flakey than normal).

    Per the "Do this first" list in forums:
    Made certain "Automatically detect settings" is ckd under LAN settings.
    I have deleted "Launch net7" folder to eliminate repeated entries in "hosts" drop down whick DID allow Sunrise.net7 rather than dev server load on launcher.

    Per the suggestions of others:
    Uninstalled/reinstalled Net7 launcher.
    Reset updates.
    Reinstalled security updates.

    The only thing left that I can think of to try is reformat drive and start over. Having done this a few times since ST2 only to learn ot didn't help, I've been putting it off so far....:huh:
    Groveling/begging for help is not very prominant in my skill set but, I' tryin'

    Oki Doki,

    I've forced updates, and installed the certificates. When I force updates and start launcher, and after it finish's running the updates when it starts up, it starts with host as dev.net-7 rather than play.net-7. It's online (of course I can't log into it) when I change it to Play.net-7 it goes back to saying offline. *sigh* There's little question that I'm mising somthing, I simply have no idea what it could be.

    I have uninstalled/re-installed launcher and still show 'Offline". I am not much good at this sort of thing, once I get beyond the obvious fix's (obvious to me that is). thus far I have piddled with trying to get on for about 12 hrs. I've burned incense and bit the head off a live chicken...STILL nothing.....:)

    Anyhow, any suggestions would be greatly apprciated. Hell even a little sympathy at this point would be nice. (Still gettin' chicken feathers outa my mouth)

    I do (however) still have original box set (in the box) and an UNOPENED beta disc...Sadly, about a month prior to my finding out we were back, I happened upon all the notes I had made (note books, note pads, envelope backs etc.) and TOSSED EM!!...*sigh*

    This was a fun time....at my age getting to remember cool old "stuff" is great!
