    i just want to add to this: not only is "casual" building not possible: neither is "casual" playing, as we cannot even get good low level equipment built.  the people who can build decent equipment charge such a ridiculous price, low level players cannot get them because they cannot afford them.  the whole game has become a "chore" to play, and is NO fun anymore

    i think madline may be referring to just "normal" grinding, not necessarily "new" content. it is actually rather difficult to "normal" grind, that is why so many people are doing jobs. New content is great, but as a player who takes her time leveling up, & only doing one toon or maybe 2 at a time, it will take a while to get to some of the new content. Not criticizing, just making a statement, I am in no hurry to get to level 150 on any of my toons, i want to enjoy the game, explore, find new things, in my own time :)

    the one thing i really am annoyed with is mining; especially low level, where there are new mobs, where there weren't any before, it is rather difficult for a CL 1 JE to mine, even level 1-4 ores now. and please, don't tell me to group with a warrior, that should not be necessary, i like to mine alone, as it relaxes me, i don't want to "have" to have someone with me.

    I have noticed lately that there is a lot of unneccessary, inappropriate chat going on in the new player chat, while there has been no foul language some of the topics being discussed do not belong in public chat. I have gotten to the point of shutting off the new player chat, which I don't like to do in case a new player actually needs assistance. This mostly happens late night, & I think alot of the players feel that since it is late night, it is ok to use the public chats for this kind of discussions. Don't get me wrong, some friendly chatter is fine, but sometimes these folks get a little carried away, & it goes on for hours. It is just annoying. Maybe they could show some restraint & take it to OOC or a private channel.

    Please do me a favor & don't flame this, I am just making an obsevation, & stating my opinion & don't want to offend anyone.

    Just went to portal; had no problem getting to my avatars or the database, if you remember, i had been having problems with this computer with windows 7-64 bit w/ IE9. this way i don't have to turn around & use my old computer. :) thanks guys.

    i can get to the web site, i see my avatars names, but cannot get into their "files", in other words I cannot look at my avatars or my account info.

    i also cannot get to the database. it is like the screen "freezes", and I cannot do anything but close it out.

    I don't know how else to expain it, seeing a screenshot would not help you, all it does is show my avatars names.

    cannot do anything on Net-7.org; cannot access my accounts nor can I even browse the database. DID NOT have this problem before the patch or the attempt to help us fix our faction. I do use IE, but NEVER had a problem before. hopefully this can be fixed, as I don't feel we should have to change our browser to access what was available to us before you revamped the site.

    i think we need more level 9 fields; these are so few & far between, it is impossible to find ores needed for a lot of the higher level builds & such; example: grail water, astralite, & kronosite are the hardest to find, and they are the most used. people hoard these, and they cherry pick to get them.

    Zackman: when you say "make sure you have browser cache refreshed" you lose me; i ask for laymen terms.
    as a side note; why should i have to refresh anything; i should be able to go to a page without a lot of extras, isn't that why the "download" option is there????? Also, the cookbook is rather bizzare, as you have to scroll down the page to find what you need/want, it is just as easy to click through for the information on the database. just my opinion.

    could you please explain the new database information.
    i don't understand the cookbook thingy; .
    what are my "enb-emulator credentials"?
    can't get any information on the download section; just comes up blank
    please explain this in laymens terms, as i am not that technical.

    I vote no also, for the simple reason, it is part of the challange to go out & find stuff that makes the game interesting & fun to play. again, most times you can get an answer from other players. granted there is a lot of joking around when getting the answer, but I find that part of the game "fun"; people inter-acting with each other is part of this game. I did not play "live", but I have found this one of the best games to play. I have a lot of time to play & enjoy the interaction with other players. to "easily" obtain items would be so boring that I would probably not play the game, I have done so with other mmos. Also, it is an option to ask if someone has some of these items, as when a toon "outgrows" them, most people will give them away or store in their vault, I have done this & many others have also. I would rather the Devs & GMs spend their time on getting the game up to par, so that all aspects of the game can be implemented in the near future, instead of spending their time, pampering the people who want everything handed to them. I have toons of every race/class; 8 of which are at level 150, and have gotten them there by PLAYING the game. searching for items/ ores, etc. is part of the game play.

    Sorry CDel; tried pasting the link but for some reason it won't take. anyway, it is to [url="http://www.net-7.org"]www.net-7.org[/url]. when i pasted it to my browser it took me to the site, but said my account was not yet activated; apparently Blacklung activated it for me; as I can now log in to the emulator, the portal & the game; maybe he could help you with how he did it.

    in the email sent to me, the website address was not "highlighted" like it is here, if that helps any;; it just appears as part of the text.

    I'm not sure if this is a bug or not; when mining & I open a poprock, kill the mob if applicable, clear the field, do not get clear field bonus. is this the way it is suppose to be?, cuz if it is, poprocks will be left by me, cuz the mobs usually don't drop anything worth while & if I don't get the cleared bonus, doing poprocks is an aggrevation.
